The evening's wanderings and rooftop ramblings had lead Eternal Sailor Corvus to a part of town that had seen better days. The news reports lately had mentioned strange sightings near the arcade that had shut down years ago after a particularly bad attack. From the descriptions she assumed youma, which generally wound up as a routine encounter... But what was 'routine' for her, a seasoned senshi who had battled her way to the rank of eternal, was sometimes too much for someone else. With the thought that she wouldn't be the only one to look into the report, Corvus found a perch and she waited, leaving her senses open in hopes of picking up the signature of someone; order or chaos.

Victoria hadn't really expected to find himself out this way. He'd really wanted to avoid it but the news reports had him sighing and following it anyways. Maybe he'd run into something useful? After all how bad could it end up being?
He brushed some of his hair behind his ear. Growing it longer was starting to be a question of what to do with it now? It was sorta past his shoulder blades and a little extra wispy when he was rolling down the street on his skateboard. He slowed when he felt an order aura. Well, at least he'd ran into someone that was for sure a friend and not a foe.

The aura that she picked up on was weaker than her own, but definitely Order aligned; a plus, as she was hardly in the mood for any Negaverse nonsense this evening. She straightened herself out, making sure that she would be visible from the direction she felt the aura approaching from so as to not startle anyone. With only white on her fuku being the splash on her bodice and the butt wings, hiding in the shadows made her both easy to miss in the shadows and easy to mistake as an enemy if one wasn't paying attention to details.

Victoria paused looking around, "Soooo...." He wasn't sure what to say because he didn't really see who he was looking for but he could feel them. He shifted slightly nervous, "You are a friend right?"
He'd heard something about senshi that were rogue. He sighed and shook his head obviously he'd been used as a punching bag too much, glad that his uniform hid any bruises he might've gotten as there were a few he knew of. He stood there though trying to sort trough the shadows in case he was missing whoever was there.

"If I wasn't don't you think I would have attacked you by now?" Corvus grinned as she stepped towards the sound of the voice, brow lofting slightly as she finally caught sight of him. "Are there really that many senshi around town now that just randomly go around attacking others who are Order aligned? Goodness, no wonder we haven't made any progress against the Negaverse. I suppose Astraea hasn't bothered with any more ' You must work together' pep talks either..." Not that she had wanted to listen to the pep talks when they'd been given. Silly, really, considering where she'd found herself now. "Corvus; Senshi of Vengeance... And you are?"

He started laughing a little, "Um, not wholly?" He said with a pause, "I did have a bucket dropped almost on my head from the top of a fairly tall building. Ran into some nicer negaverse agents than what I've been told about. Ran into some that gave me my fair share of a beat down. . . " He paused.
"It's been a rough couple of weeks." He said with a soft sigh and nod. There was a pause, "I unno about Astraea, I haven't really seen that many senshi meetings in general lately. Plus my team's been kinda busy. . . so I've not seen a horrible amount of them either. . . "
"Victoria, Senshi of Glory." There was a small pause as he looked at her outfit, "You're fuku's interesting in design choice, who's your cosmic tailor?" He was trying to make light joke, if it went over well.

"This old thing?" She smirked. "I think I lucked out, honestly. It makes it easier to blend in; that split second when people can't tell whose side your on despite the way your aura feels can be enough to gain a bit of an edge... I've used it to my advantage once or twice, but it also has its flaws." It came with her sphere, after all, and Vengeance was never easy. "It can be hard when you lose your team, or when you find yourself drifting away from them. Word of advice from someone who's been around that block? Watch out for the 'nice' Negaverse agents. We can learn a lot from them, but it usually comes at a price."

Victoria nodded as she spoke about her fuku. "Yeah, it's a bit of a interesting trip, but it's got some nice colors. I bet if you had a cat to hide your aura; that'd really throw them for a loop."
He nodded as she said it had it's flaws too, "Yeah? I suppose when others attack becuase they assume you're not on the right side?" He asked.
He nodded as she spoke about it being hard with drifting away from or losing the team. He wasn't really sure he'd lost them, but that also didn't mean he hadn't, or at least lost himself from them. "Ah, I'll remember that." He said softly rubbing the back of his head.
"At least there are a few that aren't quite as horrible as the majority?" He offered, "I mean obviously in general they're not the best to trust, but there seem to be a few unique ones that are neither here nor there."
He seemed to be thinking about something as he looked at the wings on her fuku. "So . . . I hate to ask this but while you're doling out advice, would you have any for fighting?"

"One of their General Kings fits that description, but in the name of not wanting to summon him by saying his name, I'll refrain from that for now." Her expression took on the hint of a sly smirk as she glanced at him before turning about so that she was fully facing him again. "I've been through a battle or two in my five years... First thing about fighting is to know your own personal strengths. Is your magic passive or aggressive?" Her brow quirked as she regarded the young man.

"Oh interesting, though I've yet to meet a General King or Queen that certainly sounds fascinating." He gave a small shrug as he watched her turn to face him.
"Passive. It's a buffer, gives another attack." He said as if it was perhaps not the best attack in the world, "It's useful, when there's someone to need it. Not useful otherwise." He felt as if his attacks were for lack of a better word lame.
"So I feel like a squishy mage that doesn't even have a stick to smack someone with."

"The best advice I have for you, then, is to make sure you keep your phone updated with contacts. You don't have to consider every senshi that you meet a friend, but in a game like this it helps to have allies. Pay attention to your senses and learn what different auras feel like, especially when it comes to strong chaos energy spots. Take down there, for instance," Corvus extended a gloved hand, pointing at the arcade. "Can you feel anything inside that building? I hadn't noticed it before, but there was just a little blip... When something like that happens and you notice it, phone a friend. Sounds cheesy, but it helps." Corvus took a step back, tucking a strand of hair back behind her ear. "I had to learn that the hard way. When I first started I got my a** handed to me a lot because I didn't understand how to use my attacks to my advantage and I thought that teaming up was stupid." She still considered it questionable from time to time, but she had come to accept that it was one of the best ways to stay alive. "Wanna show that thing what we can do?"

Victoria nodded as she spoke, it made sense. "Yeah, I guess I kept myself in a small bubble because I thought I wouldn't have need for anyone but my teammates. . . " He sighed as shrugged softly, "Bit myself in the butt, because even if you have a team sometimes you still need friends."
He looked towards the arcade it did feel like something was there, why hadn't it come after them? "Sure, that sounds like a plan to me." He gave a soft nod as she asked if he wanted to show that thing what they could do.
"Are you're attacks offensive then?" He looked at her hopeful. "It'd be nice to actually be of use. Well, of use beyond breaking my skateboard on a youma."

She let the youma be a distraction for the moment, using it as a reason to not discuss her own team. It was easier, sometimes, to pitch the benefits of having a senshi group if you didn't point out how you'd lost two of your team members to a tragic accident and lost touch with the last one because you'd lost touch with yourself as well. "My attacks are offensive, but Vengeance has a catch." Corvus hopped down from the roof top she had been watching the arcade from, landing neatly while waiting for him to follow. "My magic doesn't work until I've taken damage from an opponent. It's another reason why it helps to blend in with the bad guys sometimes..."

Victoria nodded as he followed her, landing not quite as swift as he hadn't had much practice but decently. "Ohh, wow well at least I can replenish attacks. So that might be useful."
He nodded as he followed her, "I can see where that would be useful being attacked so you can attack. Instead of having to wait for a Negaverse or other Chaos agent to attack you."

"After the first time I wound you 'mugged' my father signed me up for some self defense classes. My mother thought that a personal escort of some sort would be better, but I think Papa knew I'd ditch them." She smirked softly, fondly speaking of her family in a way that she hadn't lately. She was going to have to visit home at some point, as opposed to just checking in over the phone once every couple of weeks to reassure them that her grades were still up and she hadn't been getting into too much trouble. "Another bit of advice is to use whatever is around you. If you're in an alley look for a garbage can lid. If you're heading into an old building pay attention to what's around right as you walk in the door. Anything that you can pick up can be used as a weapon even if you're just using it long enough to distract your opponent long enough for someone else to get a hit in. Sometimes just startling them can be enough to save someone's life." She nodded as they crossed the street.
