Don't you just hate it when people say things like, "That's gay!" which they mean is " That's wrong/weird". I hate it when they say that, I mean, not only it's offensive to gay people, they also don't know how to use it right..What do you think?

Yes, I hate it so much.
So I do when people say, "how gay is that?" when they see a girlish boy, without even knowing if he is really gay.
In my experience, there are a lot of 'girlish' boys who aren't gay, and a lot of 'macho' boys who are gay.
Simply ironic. 3nodding

I find it stupid really. Just beacuse someone/something is different people think its right to label it gay right away. People lack the respect for others now a days. What I also hate is the way people like to use the word normal when comparing two people. For Example. "Joe is "normal" unlike Tom". I mean how can one go around and say such a thing? It just really pisses me off. scream

I also find it offensive. But I shouldn't be talking because not too long ago, I said the same thing. Now I am ashamed for what I have said.

ahh I use to do that too but half a month before I realized I was bi. and I said it so much that sometimes I'd slip then I'd slap myself and say I was just joking, I think its cool. I'm sooo ashamed that I just got to smack myself. I'm MUCH better and I havent said that in a year. I correct people now too, I just reply to their comments, (example someone says, that bag is so gay, to make fun of someone's style)Soo that bag likes other bags its same kind? thats got to be difficult love!

Yes it's wrong to say that, though my gay cousin said it once without even blinking.
And what really annoys me is, whenever someone says that in front of mokubahv, she corrects them by saying, "No, say straight". That's also offensive. Seriously. Why can't we just say, "That's so stupid." Even, "That's so rediculous" would work.
But yeah, no one's going to stop saying it. There will always unfortunately be the handful of homophobes in the world who will use those terms and hate everyone else who isn't like them. crying
