During the creation of life, magic was more prevalent. However, as things started to form, magic itself started to take shape. It settled into sentient hosts and bonded, creating whole new species. Some of them began to be known as monsters while others were worshiped as deities. One branch of these creatures who were still closely tied with natural forces became known as Fae. Over the expanse of time they started to diversify and split up into factions, evolving different types of connections and magic. One of these factions called themselves Faerie as they believed themselves to be the true descendants from the original fae where as the others had intermingled their bloodlines with creatures or humans. After a while they started to see themselves as superior and tried to rule over all of the other Fae.

Eventually the other Fae decided to fight back. The other fae tried to rally humans, who had figured out how to work metal, onto their side. This created choas as all Fae are weak to a specific metal - Iron. Humans harnessed this power and started to subjugate the Fae for their own intentions. Seeing and fearing the world that they had helped to create, the Fae requested help in making a separate, safe place where they could exist without harming or being harmed by other fae or humans. This lead them to Nemetona who had the ability to separate space. She created the Nemeton trees all around the world to act as anchors for this world to the original world. So long as the trees remained in tact, Faeries could interact with humans to help or hinder despite the fact that they agreed not to. However, as time went on and humans cut down forests to build houses and ships, Faeries have lost touch with our world. In fact, the last true faerie to set foot onto Earth was one thousand years ago.

Status: Thought to be Extinct
Faeries haven't been around for at least a thousand years. As such, they have fallen into the category of a myth even by supernatural standards.

Appearance: They take on the appearance of a youthful human being, however their eyes tend to be brightly colored and their skin seems to have an inner glow. As they channel their energy and powers, their body is actually illuminated. This light can be seen as wings when they use it to help propel or lift themselves over obsticals.

☽ Ｓｔｒｅｎｇｔｈｓ ☾

Healing - Faeries heal three times faster than a human.

Empathic - They can sense people's emotions when they are within sight distance of the individual. This empathic sense can also be used to get an understanding of what people desire.

Telepathic - Faerie can 'hear' what other people are thinking, even when those thoughts are unconscious to the individual. However, they can not delve down with this level of telepathy to 'read' into people's histories.

Precognition - While limited by individual's choices or actions, faeries can get a supernatural sense for what is or will happen based on an individuals' choices.

Perception Cloaking - Faerie have a hard time being detected by humans or supernaturals. The levels vary based on their contact with an individual. However, it is always active and it allows them to stay out of complete perception. So while you may see that they are there, your attention isn't immediately drawn to them. It stops an individual from noticing too many odd coincidences or occurrences that are out of the norm about them.

Scent Cloaking - A faerie's scent is malleable. It takes on aspects that would help endear it to an individual or group. These endearing aspects are used as a way of defense and are unconscious to both the faerie and the individual or group they are affecting. This may attract animals, more specifically mammals as they are still warm blooded, in the area towards them.

Light Energy - Tapping into natural currents of Energy that form around the Earth, Faeries can produce energy like blasts that they can use offensively defensively. Offensively they can use this energy to form blasts which decimate supernatural creatures. Defensively they can use this energy to enhance their speed and movement, which takes form as near shapeless wings from their back.

Mental ability - Faerie can learn information or traits at a rapid pace when they are young.

Aging - Faerie start off aging very quickly. They age faster than any human or other supernatural in existence. If they are with their own kind their aging will slow down to the point of where it appears it has stopped to a human's perspective.

Sight - A faerie can see just as well at night as they can during the day. Their sight also allows them to see energy around them as well as the lingering spirits of people or creatures who have recently passed.

Illusions - Faeries can not create an illusion from nothing. Their illusions must be based around an object or person. In a sense, it is more of a glamour without the connotation that it's applied to a living being. By doing this their illusion has physical shape and the look desired but will lack other sensory features such as scent or energy output.

Spiritual Bonding - They have the ability to weave together multiple souls with varying repercussions. These bonds can be as strong as forming a singular entity or as more common, to form a connection such as soul mating. Likewise, gifted faeries also have the ability to untie souls from one another but at a cost to the individuals' emotional health for as long as they're are alive.

Remote Viewing - Faeries have the ability to see through certain objects as though they were looking through a window to another place. This allows them to spy on and gather information on the human world even though they are mostly restricted to their own world.

Remote Voice - They can channel their voice through certain points in the world to give people knowledge or to strike bargains with unsuspecting humans.

Mental ability - The rate at which they learn during childhood wanes as they get passed childhood and it eventually takes them longer than a human to learn new concepts.

Aging - If they are not among their own kind for the majority of their time, the the Faerie will continue to age at this rapid pace until they die.

Iron - Faerie, unlike other Fae, can ingest Iron as part of their diet. However, they are extremely susceptible in other ways. If it touches their skin, it brings them pain. if Iron is used to piece their skin or is added to the blood directly, it is poisonous to them. Iron can also be used to block any perception ability they might have if it is placed in the right way. It also blocks their ability to channel energy if they are bound by it.

Salt - Like iron, as long as it's not in a pure state such as the denaturalizing process of cooking, salt can be ingested. However, in it's pure form it can burn their skin and block their mobility when they are surrounded by it. It can also be used to ward a house or a person against any ability that a faerie has if the house or individual is surrounded by salt.

Reflections - Their illusions can not cast a reflection. So if one were to look at an item or person that has an illusion placed over them through only it's reflection, the person would see the original item or person without the illusion that the faerie placed upon it.

Energy - Their energy has been directly tied into the world their created. As such, they grow weaker the father they are away from others like them. This means that they can only truly be effective around sacred spots in which they can use to travel through the worlds - places like the Nemeton.
