"Why don't you like me?
Am I not good enough for you?
He makes it seem so easy...
I need balance so they can be proud of me
Just accept me!"
The amber eyed stallion was upset and if someone were to approach him, one would think he were talking only to himself, but he was trying to talk to the darkness. He believed the shadows around him to be a form of darkness and had been talking to them since sunrise. His mother wanted him to be good but Cam wanted him to embrace darkness and maybe one day take his place. Keir huffed with annoyance and confusion, he had no idea what the right answer was, he didn't want to let either of them down. He couldn't have it both ways. His mom would be upset if he embraced darkness and Cam would be mad if he didn't. Would they still love him and care about him either way? He was always afraid to ask that one question because the answer scared him more than anything that could hurt him physically.
He glared at the shadow in front of him, it was his own shadow and then frowned. Darkness followed him everywhere but he couldn't communicate with it, couldn't hear it or walk with it. With no other option in mind, he laid down on the grass and just stared at his shadow, mumbling and whispering to it. "Why don't you like me?
Am I not good enough for you?
He makes it seem so easy...
I need balance so they can be proud of me
Just accept me!"
