Kelly walked slowly through the mist into the bandit's den, her eyes wide as she realized it too was silent and untouched. Her skin shivered and she moved on, avoiding the fog and keeping to the buildings around her. They had a lot of items in there, but no food. Rubbing her stomach and ignoring her thirst, she just passed by each restaurant and walked toward the tower.
Rubbing her hands and remembering the message, she glanced around for any thorns. Happy that there were none near by, she just stood for a long moment watching the mobs shift about. Some seemed crazy, some seemed dangerous, and all seemed not worth her time.
Maybe it was best to go back to the university. Maybe it was time to see if she could find others. Wandering was lonely, so she probably should try and find some friends and seek some protection. Turning away from the tower, she began her long journey to her home. There was nothing left in the streets, nothing left for her to accomplish.
