Quote: You come across what can only be explained as a horrifically large cage, enough to contain hundreds of humans. You see it in the air, as you are no longer fully human, the lingering memories of those who had been trapped inside. They echo in the area as shapes and voices, and you feel only a great sadness that they were so incomplete. (Roll 1d4 if you wish to look around - OPTIONAL - and match your dice roll to the results below. You can roll as much as you'd like!) The last room she came across gave her chills (if that was even possible). There was a large cage within it, big enough to contain hundreds of, what she was guessing were humans. This thought was confirmed, as the remains of humans lingered in the air, visible to only her, and her kind. Had they been trapped here? What happened to them? Were they killed?
She didn't understand.. what was all this about? Why was all this happening, and what for? Angry, sad, she approached one of the figures in grey.Quote: 1. You come across a man in grey. His echo resonates as he shakes his head. "I volunteered because I expected to succeed. I failed. I understand now, it is because I had not accepted it when it was there in the first place. This is only my fault." The man was apparently a volunteer for something or other, and he claimed to have failed whatever it was he was meant to do. Trying to get an answer from him, he only continued, claiming it was his own fault for not accepting something. Much like anything and everything in this place, she was only left with more questions.

Taking one final glance back at the man, he only repeated the same words, again and again, shaking his head at his own failures. Not willing to question him any further on it, she then approached a woman.

Moving to stand in front of her, she brought her hand- or rather vines up to wave in front of the girl's face, in hopes of possibly getting her attention. When that failed, she was about to move on, when she opened her mouth to speak.Quote: 2. You come across a woman in grey. Her echo resonates. "I rejected it because this was not our organization's true intentions. This was originally not the knowledge we sought and the power was not something we should have handled in the first place. We once had good causes. We wanted to save people. We wanted to show the world that anyone could have helped, that everyone had a purpose." What was it they had rejected? Both her and the man before? What was it that had them so upset? The woman claimed that they were once a good organization- there to help, but judging from her words, they were possibly corrupted by power?
Listening quietly to her words, it sounded as though they had noble goals. Helping people, giving them a purpose. Was this also to do with that picture book she had read?

Turning, she found a child wearing some form of mask. Tilting her head slightly, she bent down to get a better look a the boy. For some strange reason, she felt as though she had encountered him before.Quote: 4. You come across a child wearing a mask. He is dressed entirely in green foliage. " It is true, these are the children who did not make it to Neverland. Not all can join us in this final voyage. We were never meant to harm any, it is the rejection that hurts the most. When all understand us, then we can finally rest. This is our legacy.." After he speaks this, he immediately disappears. Neverland? She asked, or tried to, confused by the place he spoke of. So these people, they failed to reach the place he spoke of? Or something to that like? So.. if she was to reject creation-
Their legacy..
I don't understand..!
Attempting to get more out of the boy was futile, as he quickly vanished, leaving her with more unanswered questions. What was it she was to do? Was he possibly saying that she would be stuck like this if she refused them? Or was it something completely different?

Glancing back once again where the kid once stood, curious as to where they went. Moving on, she then headed over to the last of the people she saw standing here.

Approaching the man, she looked him once over before listening to his words.Quote: 3. You come across a man in grey. His echo resonates. "-- Means the serpent that consumes itself. We are the wildfire that comes from centuries of inactivity. The -- knew long ago all this knowledge and they kept it to themselves. They could have shared all of this in the world, they could have given back to humans but instead, they thought they were better than us. This is our trump card against them." Wildfire that comes from centuries of activity? Was this in reference to the organization they had spoken of? Was this organization possibly still around?
Their words only left her with more questions. Whatever it was they were talking about- something big was coming, or was quite possibly already here.
