It was hard to determine where it was, but she knew it was there! Somewhere.
Surprised and shocked by the massive amount of damage she took from one blow, Brie struck back, hearing a small 'klunk' like sound. It was probably dead. The fact that it didn't hit her again pretty much confirmed it. Days later, someone might smell something rotting, but where it was coming from, they would never know.
