Milosh, hell hound, rescuing Greta Dean, human.
The first thing Milosh did was look through the human's pockets--she had a lot of layers on so he assumed she might be carrying quite a few items. Unfortunately, all she had was a fishing rod (why was she carrying a fishing rod?) and a radio that he wasn't really sure he wanted to use.
Name: Milosh Faction: Halloween Suspecies/Division: Demon General appearance: Tall, muscular, dark skinned and dark haired, he has sharp teeth and glowing red eyes. Upon closer inspection, you realize he actually has short, smooth fur all over his body. A long whip-like tail and clawed hands and feet give it away that he's a hell hound. HP: 30/30
Milosh looked down at the human at his feet and shrugged, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. He felt weak (at least compared to usual), but she was underfed, so even her height didn't make her impossible to pick up. He began the slow trek back to the portal. It seemed that he had wandered farther away from it than he thought. Each step seemed to make him more and more tired and he was pretty sure it wasn't the sleeping human.
It was then that he remembered he was supposed to hug his human. Maybe that was it? He stopped and gave her a perfunctory pat on the back since he was already holding her--that counted as a hug right?
It didn't help, but at least he was following the instructions. One step in front of the other. That was what he told himself, human draped over his shoulder. He huffed as he kept walking. Why couldn't he have found a closer human?
It honestly, wasn't that far, but everything farther in the fog and he was tired--something he wasn't used to feeling. When he finally got to the portal, he considered laying her back down, but it seemed like a waste of energy since he probably need to keep dragging her around anyways. She wasn't waking up even though he was sure the path to the portal had been a bit rough.

This did not look like what the portal was supposed to take them to. It felt wrong and it certainly didn't look like a better place to drop a human off than the foggy city. Frowning, he looked around and was greeted by the sight of a huge skyscraper covered in vines. He tried to see what was going on with it, but it hurt to look at it. He had to look away, but when he did, things started shaking around him.
He turned around and saw a thing. A mutated horse of some sort, with vines and tendrils of something coming off of it. He did not like the look of it. Horses should not be scary to a hound, but it looked and felt wrong.
We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.
The pain lanced through his head and he almost lost consciousness and dropped the human. Holding his head he cringed, realizing in horror that the tendrils were creatures of Halloween that had been consumed. He could feel it in his bones and he knew that if he got caught, he would lose himself to the creature.
Nauseous, he began to run, dropping to the ground so that he could run with both his hands and feet. Even in this form (which he needed to hang onto the human), he was faster running like a hound than on two legs.

He kept running and he tried not to look at the skyscrapers and the buildings bursting into vines. He didn't know what they were but he knew it would be no good for him to stop to think about it. The creature was chasing him and there was no doubt that he would be consumed if he so much as gave it an opening. He ran and ran, glad to he felt himself again. So it was with some horror that he greeted the fog. He came from him, light at first then thickening.
He couldn't help it--he was back in his natural form. The human slipped off his shoulder in the process and he needed to bound back to take her many sweaters in his teeth before he began dragging her along, running as quickly as one could while dragging along a useless, dead weight human. Her towel and clothes would just have to protect her from injury.
He eventually reached an open highway and saw cars.
None of them seemed to have keys in them, so a small motorbike had to do. He was sure it looked ridiculously, a huge hell hound pressing the pedals with its front paws and steering with its jaws, but as long as it worked he didn't care.

Milosh pushed down on the petal and the little motorbike started up. He wasn't sure if it was entirely faster than running, but he figured it had to be.
Unfortunately, he didn't get very far before the thing managed to catch up to them and hit them pretty hard.

A violent kick with a hind leg got them free and the motorbike burst away. He pressed down on the gas pedal as hard as possible. How slow did this thing have to be? Was it really too much to ask to get a little closer. They only had to travel 10 kilometers after all.
All his effort was for naught. They traveled even less this time before the thing managed to get a tendril on him. He was overcome by nausea and it took him a moment before he was able to snarl and push it away.
They just had to make it to the portal. They just had to make it to the portal.
The feeling of something trying to consume you made it difficult though.

Milosh growled in frustration and pain as the darned motorbike refused to do his bidding and get them to the portal before the thing caught up to them again. He cried out, howling, when a vine successfully grabbed at him.
He swerved dangerously, trying to swipe at it with his claws. He nearly crashed into an empty car before he was able to get free. His breathing was ragged and it made it difficult to steer, but he had to keep going.

Milosh was glad the human was asleep for this. With all his swerving, he was pretty sure she would have vomited all over his coat (if there was anything in her stomach to vomit, that was). He just kept on driving, narrowly escaping a vine and tendril whenever the thing managed to get close enough to take a swipe at him.
The thing just wouldn't stop chasing them. Finally, though, the portal was in reach, familiar and orange--safety.

He pretty much had to crash the motorbike to make it stop, but he didn't care as long as he could get to the portal. All the mattered was the orange portal (even though he was curious about the blue one). He picked up the human by the back of her sweaters, teeth tearing none to gently at the fabric.
He ran, dragging her towards the portal. They were so close when all of a sudden the human woke up (she had terrible timing). She started screaming and all of a sudden, the fishing rod swung out of nowhere and smacked him across the eyes.
He howled in pain, dropping her. (So that was what the fishing rod was for!) Milosh growled and tried to subdue her without hurting her, managing to grasp the fishing rod in his teeth and tear the offending weapon away from her. It hadn't taken very long (and would have taken even less time if he hadn't been tasked to save her), but when he looked up, the portal was gone.
They were stuck here.
