Sucre grinned and leaned in close to the human. She hadn't seen one close up, they were very....plain. They did totally look like reapers, that was pretty funny. She poked at the human's cheek, but it didn't stir. Didn't matter, humans were weak right ,should be a piece of booberry cake!
Sucre bent onto her knees to try and get a good grip on the human. Upon closer inspection she was female, wearing browns and a cut up shirt with badges all over. She was also heavier than she looked. She was a small human, so that was surprising. Sucre struggled, trying to lift her. Finally she dropped the human woman and stood up.
"Fine, I'll drag you into the portal..." She said and pulled at the human's arms.
Sucre was a good distance from the portal, and there seemed to be no easier way of moving the human. She begrudgingly kept pulling her. This was not fun! She made sure to pout the whole way, past the broken black stone and busted cars. Finally, after what felt like forever, she tugged the human into the portal.

The goo girl was ready to give the elf a peice of her mind. Helping humans was not fun, and she didn't see what they had helped them from. To her surprised, there was no elf or halloweentown in sight. Her mouth hung agape. Of course she would get lost, she always got lost.
They appear to have landed on a long length of the human's black stone highways. Looking around she gaped even more and her grip renewed on her human, but now her hands held the woman's collar. There was a tall skyscraper near her done in the human aesthetic of plain and boring, except for the vines clinging to it. The vines were all over. A pain exploded in her head causing Sucre to look away. The pain resided as she did. That couldn't be normal right? A shaking brought more uncertainty into her thoughts.
As Sucre turned, dragging her human closer, she saw something that shook her very being. Not right, for sure. It was a horse-creature of some sort, not unusual in that alone, but the vines it seemed to be made of were almost sinister. To make it worse, the vines began to fall forward, of the creature and toward them, twisting into mocked claws.
The pain returned and Sucre fell forward, releasing her human. Her head hurt so much, so much heavy whispers. We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.
Once it hit her, the realization that that fear had been consumed, those were Halloween creatures, a fire lit up in her. She was not going to be eaten! Her cry of adrenaline could not drown out the thousands of resonating screams, they were no longer themselves.
Sucre snatched her human, this time tossing her over her shoulder, and ran. Her excess goo sliding down and into her legs, strengthening them. The screams and pain followed, just behind her.

As Sucre ran, as the nausea and disconnection pushed at her back, she wondered what was going on. This was not a simple human problem, those were creatures of Halloween, torn from themselves and forced into servitude. Of what? The vines?
Behind her, she can hear the entire city bursting apart. She swallowed hard, pushing herself. Too slow. Why was she slowing down? Her running began to lag on more human highway. There was nothing on it save more human cars.
Sucre's eyes lit up through the vast amounts of goo sweating out of her and down her face. She could probably drive one right? She had sneaked a joy ride in with her friends in the past even though she couldn't officially drive.
Sucre jogged toward the nearest human car. It was the ugliest thing she had seen here yet. Flat, with nothing to it, though somewhat pleasingly shiny. Didn't matter, she could upgrade it in her details later, all that mattered was if it would drive. A key dangled from the inside. Sucre not too gently tossed in her human and jumped inside. She pushed on the pedal, the engine roared satisfyingly, for a human car at least, and sped down the highway. It was fast at least. Sucre needed fast.

[7/10 kilometers]
Sucre shouted out a satisfied "yes" as she sped forward. Glancing in the mirror told her the thing was still following. Glancing ahead, she couldn't see, but she could feel, that there was a portal ahead. It couldn't be that far in this super fast human car.
She felt the vibrations on the human road, poorly made and unable to handle the creature of fear and anguish chasing her. Then she felt the fear as her car was pushed toward the edge. Sucre's breath caught in her goo as she swerved back and leveled the flat car out. She pushed down even harder on the peddle.

Sucre could see the portal ahead and feel the creature at her back. She had probably never been so scared in her life. Those poor Halloween creatures. She gritted her teeth, her hands gripping hard enough to almost reach to her bones. Her goo fell around the wheel. She prepared to meet the portal.
Sucre was in over her head, or she had seen too many Too Fast, Too FEAR-ious movies, but she could slide to a stop. She sharply turned the sleek car. The wheels squealed, deafening as smoke fell around the car. She had done it. Jack, she had done it.
With a short-lived jubilation she kicked open her door, grabbed onto her human and dragged her to the portal. They needed to get in, now!

Sucre was re-adjusting her grip on the human's shirt and about to throw her through the portal when both the Human's hands gripped her wrists. She started to wriggle and grunt. Sucre was shocked and let go. What was it doing!?
"No, don't be stupid! We need to get out of here!" She argued. The human yelled but it was nothing but sound, no words were formed. Then it lunged.
The Human had her in a grapple, and she was strong. Sucre got more push into it though from her height alone.
"Jack! Get in the portal!" Sucre cried out, anger gripping her voice.
"You won't take me! Not like this!" The human cried.
The two were locked in the struggle when the portal popped closed. Sucre didn't even notice, not until she finally pushed the human back enough so she could step back and create more distance.
If the human was dumb enough to stay with the vines and the creature and the pain then it could stay. Sucre was going back.
"JACK!" she yelled out when she turned to find no portal. "Are you happy!? We are stuck! Oh jack we are stuck. The instructions did not cover this..." she ended weakly. Sucre had no idea what to do now.
