"s**t, what is this stuff made out of?" Harrison asked, plugging through the cold and strangely heavy mist.
"I don't think it's them, damn. Maybe I oughta have emptied his pockets better. Feels like I'm carrying a ******** elephant." Harrison shifted the man over between his shoulders uncomfortably.
His arms felt...well. He just felt weak all over. Like it was extra effort. Normally he could carry a ******** elephant without breaking too much of a sweat. B0nez hung from his hips, oohing and ahing about the mist like it was somehow impressive.
Definitely debuffed. Let's get out of the debuffing area, okay? Move it, move it!
"I'm moving it," Harrison grumbled. "B0nez is saying something about a rebuff." OOC Name: Harrison Faction: Hunter Suspecies/Division: Moon General appearance: A blonde, mustached man with a lot of scars and two glowing, pink cutlasses. HP: 60

The fog was whatever, but all the whispering was a different thing. It went from bad to worse. B0nez started humming something to drown it out, but Harrison only had so much headspace and it was getting crowded. He focused on the humming the best he could, and weirdly, it seemed to help.
"L-let's uh, let's not stick around, huh?"
He recognized the vines from Rep's descriptions.
Harrison knew better than to fight something that Cael had trouble with and had almost knocked Rep the ******** out.
"s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t," he said in a litany that along with B0nez's humming was making sure his thoughts stayed his thoughts. He kept a hold of his musty human potato sack as he booked it hard and fast, elbow to elbow with Rep.

When they hit the highway, Harrison looked in any window he could find for a pair of keys.
Rep, of course, headed for the flashiest ******** car on the highway. Harrison rolled his eyes, and took time to buckle himself and his still-unconscious passenger in.

Rep took off, and Harrison shifted into drive behind him.
The car didn't lurch forward, and it wasn't like Harrison wasn't in a hurry, there was just hurrying and then there was crashing your car into a ******** maze of debris, corpses, and other wrecked cars.
Of course, that had to be balanced with being chased by an arboretum.
Harrison turned the wheel sharply as its roots nearly caved the trunk in.
He was glad he'd used the seatbelts. The rubber hit the highway again, hard, spinning as they gained traction and spirited forward.

The car performed with a dragging limp after being half punched into the ground, and it wasn't long before the next sling of vines nearly took them off the road. But the car stayed just ahead of the danger.
"Come on," Harrison said under his breath, clutching the wheel and pressing the gas to the floor.
By the time they reached the end of the ride, Harrison was pretty ******** ruffled. The other guy didn't have a shield, so, if they hadn't made it...
Harrison got out of the car, slamming the now-wonky door and brushing s**t off his jacket. "Alright, slick. Let's get you and what's-her-face somewhere that you can infect another city. I guess. Are you sure those were the orders?" Harrison asked for maybe the tenth time.
"G-Gilda," the man croaked from his shoulder.
"Great. And you're awake. You think you can walk, because-?" Harrison suddenly found himself with a struggling bundle of something with a knife, which, honestly, wasn't really that big a deal. When he'd had Lawr under one arm, it had been about six knives. But it meant he had to shift his grip to something else.
"Would you calm your s**t?"
Ras only looked at Gilda, who was also struggling, clawing desperately in an attempt to maim Harrison and project himself forward, presumably to strangle Rep.
"Look. From you to me. You don't want to fight him," Harrison said.
Ras only sobbed, "Gilda, Gilda! Gilda!" Over and over, before finally managing something articulate- "Let her go, please, I'll give you anything, please-!" as the portal shut. The man stiffened, either exhausting himself or passing out again, and Harrison jilted his limp body up and down a few times to make sure.
"Yeah. He's out. Along with the portal? Great. That's never happened before. I guess they know each other."
