The fog was affecting her, making it hard to drawn upon her natural abilities. This may, what should have been a easy task, a lot more difficult and frustrating. Pokerus bent down to grab the human, intention to carry her on her back, but found he was pretty heavy. The guy was fairly tall, and was well muscled, so this was going to be a gain pain.
Since she couldn't lift him, the dragon ghoul threw a arm over her shoulder, and awkwardly dragged him towards the orange portal in the distance. She had been assured that wherever she was taking this human, it was safe for him to be.
She was a fair way from the portal though, so it took her a while to actually drag him there.
The portal had dropped her, not in this 'safe place' she was told about, but right onto the edge of a human road. Nearby stood a tower, looking a little worse for wear with it's top blown off. For some strange reason, whenever she looked it her head would start to hurt, so she chose not to focus on it. Now, how was she supposed to get out of here...
The ground shook.
"Huh?" Confused, she turned around, and came face to face with a monstrosity that would make even the scariest of monsters jealous. Pokerus heard the whisper in her head, before a sering pain lashed at her skull. She doubled over in agony, and she realized that this horse thing wasn't a normal halloween creature. No, the FEAR she could feel came from the tendrils, and she realized with horror that these had been halloween creatures absorbed, their agony chilling her to the depths of her core.
The fog had begun to subside, and with that her strength returned. Her form shifted, growing and stretching into a more reptilian shape, until a actual dragon stood in her place.
She wasn't as large as the horse, but she felt big enough to take it on.
Pokerus charged forward, ignoring the grasping tendrils, and lowing her large head she slammed into the horse monster with force, throwing her head up to do even more damage.
Her massive jaws bit into the monsters hide, teeth rasping down it's sides, before the horse backed away and fled into the distance.
It was gone, but she knew it would be back.
Wasting no time, she ambled over to the human, gently picking him up in her jaws (good thing he was unconscious), then went off down the highway, trying to put as much distance as possible between herself and the horse.
Pokerus had leaped off the ground, spreading her wings to make this faster, but found she didn't get very high. What was worse was the fog returned, sapping her strength completely and forcing her run once again. She could hear the thing was catching up again, and before long she felt a sering pain in her tail.
"YOU JACKING PIECE OF- "Not wanting to stop, she ran even faster.
Reaching the end of the highway, Pokerus could see a orange portal in the distance. "Thank jack!" She puffed, about to start off again before she felt the human start the squirm.
"Dude...were am I - WOAH. MAN, WHAT IS THAT?!"
Ohh...s**t, he couldn't see her could he.
Before she could say anything, the human had managed to scrambled out of her grasp, and was running away.
"JACK DAMMIT COME BACK HERE!" Pokerus ran after the human, managing to catch and subdue him in the nicest way way possible (she punched him int he gut.), before looking back to where the portal was.
