BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: x

The thick fog swirled around him, visibility was less than a foot in front of him. Even then, his senses were severely diminished from what it once was in Halloween. This was to be expected, it wasn't his first time in the human world. With the fog around, he didn't exactly have to disguise or hide himself. Casually, he walked to the fallen body of an individual human. Listening - the best that he could, because checking pulses is not something a sensible demon hound with usual heightened senses would think about - he could confirm that this one was alive. Sleeping. Squatting, Uru pulled the pamphlet out for a second glance. "Tsk... they're not fragile." he muttered at the 'Hug' line. Reaching down, he picked up the female's body and slung him over his shoulder like a sand bag on a run up the mountain. She was a tad heavier, but it would be fine. Glancing around, he had to walk blindly back to the portal that he had used to arrive here. The female's shallow, hot breath was against the nape of his neck. No one should ever be able to do that but his boilfriend... He grumbled as he shifted her around to carry her in his arms. Now she was being cradled and... it did not sit right with him. Screw it. The faster he made it back to the portal, the end of this volunteering would be over. He did his good deed of the day. He saved at least one human. At least it was a female. If he recalled, females were required to procreate so the humans could make more. Why they didn't use pumpkins was beyond him. However, making his way back proved to be problematic. The visibility being so low, he had to try to remember rubble and debris... Fortunately, he was able to find the portal again after its subtle glow lit up in front of him. Throwing the human into the portal, he followed shortly after.

"What is this!?" he exclaimed as he stood beside the slumbering body of the female. This was not Town Hall. This was not Halloween Town. This wasn't even the Forbidden Forest. The fog was lighter here, this was definitely still the Human World. Cars littered this stretch of road and the buildings all around. To the peripheral, he saw the towering building covered in vines, the top shattered to the sky. His eyes flared as he tore his gaze away when he felt a presence around.

"Tsk... what is this?" He offered with a glare, arms crossing his chest. It was a horse. Well, a very large five-story horse with vines covering its form. However, as it approached, he saw what it was. What was coming from it. Voices. Voices of Halloweeners. Even among its vines, he could make out shapes of various subspecies and factions and...

We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.

it was a trap! The portals were a trap! It consumed anyone who was foolish to come here. It was... No time to think, Uru reached down and hoisted the ghoul over his shoulder, shifting into his natural form and made a mad dash away from the equine beast. Running on all four, he had incredible maneuverability, but still the beast was on him.

Eruptions and crumbling debris could be heard. The threatening crescendo of galloping steps behind him. The frantic sounds of his own paws carrying and the human as far and as fast as he could go. He did not spare a glance in any direction but what was in front of him. Uru growled as he noticed the fog beginning to thicken around him again - immediately the effect taking affect upon him, locking him into his student form and weakening him, sending the pair tumbling forward. Without skipping a beat, the alumni hoisted the girl over his shoulder and continued forward. No time to stop. No time to think too long. He had to keep moving. There were cars that lined this road way... cars were a lot faster than what he was doing and it bore weight easily.

4. A really, really square car that reminds you of Monster Cars from Halloween, without the "Monster" in it. You like the space in it at least! (SPEED VALUE +4)

Uru unceremoniously threw the female into the back of the car and jumped in the front himself. He gave the key a few turns before the machine roared to life. Of course, he never learned how to drive ... he was a demon who was capable of shapeshifting to his natural form and running. He ran just fine on two legs... and he recently acquired three mounts from Miasma Village. So what use was there for driving? Well, certainly would have been a great time have learned how to! No time to waste. Uru slammed on the gas and sped off down the street, exaggerating the turns as he tried to weave through cars.

Distance: 8/10 Kilometers
Health: 55/60

Ten kilometers, that was as far as he would have to get. It was a bit more difficult to outrace the rushing vines and FEAR but he had to. He had much more to live for than dying here in the Human World. Zipping past broken down cars and debris, the vines lashed out into the side of the vehicle, rocking it tremendously. Uru stepped hard on the pedal, the engine roaring louder as the speedometer increased towards a hundred.

Swerving out of the way of the next lash, Uru was getting the hang of using the mirrors. Just beyond the next few sets of cars, the portal was coming into view.

Slamming onto the other pedal to the left, the car skidded to an abrupt halt, jostling the two passengers forward and back as the car reclaimed its momentum. Uru popped out of the car and pulled the female from the back seat. The portal was right there and there was a considerable distance between him and the vine-entangled creature. As he approached the portal, the female stirred. Stir wasn't the correct word. No, she thrashed and flailed at him, she screamed and yelled, kicked and punched. She got a few good hits in but he held on tight, trying to move closer to the portal.

"LET ME GO!"

Uru growled as he clutched her tighter as she threatened to fall off of him. He was suppose to take her to safety and that meant the gateway right in front of them. Sure, she may be scared and delirious, but it was for her safety - and his - that they made it. "Knock it off or I will drop you right now and you can stay here and die. I am in no mood to die to day or any other. Now sit still!" He grabbed her wrists as her feet landed firmly on the ground, the female glaring defiantly at him and the portal behind him.

Or rather, that was once behind him. As soon as the female got to her feet, the portal began to dissipate away.

"No nononononono no no NO!" Uru pleaded as he ran to where the portal once stood. "NO! THE PORTAL!" He jerked around, throwing his arm out to the empty highway. "That was our only way out of this place! Our only way to safety!"

The female crossed her arms as if she cared at all. Now he was standed... with her.
