BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER 5'2, chubby woman with bleached-blonde teased hair. Black leggings, leopard print top. She's fairly outgoing but under present circumstances, probably very curt. Typically somewhat clever, though has never had to adjust to a situation quite like this one before.

Two yards. Two yards may only be six feet, but that was still six freakin' feet to drag Lame-Unconscious-Lard-a** back to the portal.

While the woman was shorter than she was by a few inches, she surely made up for it in weight. She had to weigh at least a good sixty pounds more than Spooky did .... this was an outrage, clear and simple.

Her tail joined her hands, wrapping around the woman's chubby wrist as the imp did her best to haul her prey victim closer and closer towards the portal. She could feel sweat begin to bead on her forehead, the struggle becoming all too real.

Moving around to the other side, she shoved and pushed. A jiggle here, an arm slump there. Other than that, no movement.

Then, it hit her. Log roll.

Spooky stepped over the limp body of the human and tucked its harms into the awful looking leggings. She then shoved both of the legs together, pulling them until the woman was now parallel with the portal. Another step back and she was now behind the woman, leaning down to push and roll the larger woman the final few feet towards the awaiting portal.

One final shove sent her through and the delighted (and horribly tuckered out) imp hopped in after her.

The body landed with a THUD while the imp's boots landed with a gentle click click against the surface of the asphalt. Wait. This didn't look like another safe Human city...

Spooky's head turned towards the towering skyscraper that rested near their street (highway? were they on a highway of some sorts?). The building appeared shattered, destroyed and covered in vines. Lots of creepy vines.

Her nose wrinkled at the less-than-aesthetically-pleasing building and it was as she remembered to lean down and check on her unconscious responsibility that she heard the noise.

Hair whipped around and her eyes froze on the maker of the rumble. It looked like a kelpie - a vine kelpie, maybe? Whatever it was, the vines were quickly unraveling and she didn't like the way they were headed towards them.

We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.

The malicious voice whispered in her head. She didn't know how she knew, but she realized the voice was coming from the Vine Beast. Amber eyes grew wider as it dawned on her, the voice, the vines...this...this thing had already consumed monsters and creatures from Halloween. It had used the "we" pronoun, right?

The combined Fear resonated against her - the imp's stomach was turning in knots at the thought of what this thing had done. And, from the looks of things, what it still intended to do.

As the vines made their way towards them, Spooky reached down and grabbed the Human in her care. She didn't want to, but she also wasn't about to feed this monster any other life form, not with the way it was growing.

Adrenaline (and a little demon strength) coursed through her, helping her wrap the human's arms around her neck as she gave the woman the weirdest, most uncomfortable piggy-back of her entire unconscious life.

Dashing forward, she ran as fast as she could. Her lungs burned, her arms ached, her fingers felt as though they were ready to rip off as they clutched tightly to the woman's hips, keeping her pressed tightly against her back.

There was no way she could attack the monster - she knew her limits and her limits did not include facing apocalyptic monster absorbers with tiny balls of confusing light. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Her job would be to keep running and do her damnedest not to drop the fat woman on her back.

The running was getting her nowhere but tired.

They'd reached an empty expanse, the fog quickly rolling in around them. Spooky could feel her strength waning (thanks, Lardbutt), and there was nowhere to hide. Nowhere to go.

And that's when she saw it.

Cars had littered the highway as they'd run by, but she'd ignored them. Broken, flipped, smashed up, none of them had seemed legitimate means of escape until she saw the most beautiful car in the whole Humanverse.

Dropping the woman like a bag of rotten potatoes, she quickly threw open the passenger door and poked her head inside. Keys? Keys! They had keys! Moving forward to turn them, the car's engine purred to life. Despite the exhaustion and sweat (and the fact they were being chased by the most horrifying creature she'd ever seen), Spooky grinned.

Leaning over, she used the last bit of strength to lug the woman into the passenger seat. Mindful not to close the door on any dangling limbs, she closed the door and dashed over to the driver's side, sliding into her seat.

Glancing at the rearview mirror and spotting the vines coming dangerously close, Spooky felt this was as good a time as ever to give this beauty a test drive. One purple boot slammed on the gas, sending both her and the human flying backwards in their seat as the car took off down the highway.

((6km + 6 speed = 12km/no hit))

The Vines had come close several times to hitting their brand new, beautiful stolen vehicle, but with some proper swerving, they'd managed to dodge any oncoming attack and made their way towards the oncoming portal.

While Spooky's nails dug deeply into the beautiful leather steering wheel, Lola was not so lucky. Every turn and swerve sent her passed out body into every direction, her head smashing into the dashboard, then the window, then against Spooky (which promptly meant getting thrown back towards the window).

The Vines were but a small dot in the distance of her mirror as they arrived at the portal. The PROPER portal. The portal that would send this Human back to a safe place and Spooky could go back to doing whatever she felt like doing.

Hopping out of the car, she practically skipped to the other side of the vehicle. She hated to see such a pretty machine go, but her life meant well more than some Human car.

Reaching in, she pulled Lardbutt out of the passenger seat, sending her flying to the ground as she may not have really cared to keep hold of such a heavy woman in the first place. Grabbing her ankles, she turned around and began to drag the Human towards the portals - towards home.

What she wasn't expecting, however, was a foot to the face.

One of the legs swung out, connecting black flip-flop to her beautiful mouth, immediately forcing Spooky to let go.

"The ******** is going on?"

Well, s**t. The Human woke up.

Turning around, the imp glared at the old looking woman - who was she kidding, with that bleached look and horrid makeup job? How utterly ungrateful, kicking her rescuer just as they were about to cross the figurative finish line!

One hand moved up to touch the tender spot on her cheek, where the shoe had made contact. "I'm saving you. Now, let's go."

"Saving me - you?" Green eyes studied the monster standing in front of her. She'd been knocked out way too many times, fooled by way too many apparitions and infected...her mind had lost it. Just plain lost it.

Tapping the toe of one of her boots, Spooky made her impatience known to her Human. They didn't have time to chatter, they needed to go. Turning around to begin heading towards the portal allowed Lola enough time to stumble to her feet and draw out her knife. Fortunately for Spooky, Lola made a lot of noise in the process of doing so.

"Hey, what are you---STOP THAT!" Orange eyes glared at green ones as Spooky's hands flew up defensively. She saw the knife, but she also saw the shaking of Lola's hands as she held it. This Human was not only fat, but she was crazy to boot! "We need to get to the PORTAL while we still can!"

"Portal?" Lola looked at her, puzzled. Her back straightened up, her eyes wandered around, out of sheer curiosity. "What portal?"

Glancing behind her shoulder, the imp let out a pained cry, both hands now moving up to cup her cheeks.

"Noooooooooooooooooooooo! The portal! It's gone!"

The portal, during their spat, had faded, along with their chances of returning to safety.
