He blamed himself, thinking he'd done something to make them leave him behind. He was then adopted by a teacher from a famous school for people with magical abilities. He discovered that he had quite a talent for magic, and eventually was promoted to a full wizard, going out to help people with his gifts. One day, after saving a village from a landslide, he was led into a bar by a beautiful woman...who knocked him out and sold him into the slave trade. He's bummed about this, but looks on the bright side. As a slave, he can be helpful, even if it's to just one person. Personality: Kind, curious, seems a bit quiet, but becomes very social if he warms up to someone, and even a bit flirtatious. He's smart, and tries to help others using his knowledge and magic. When he fails, though, he shuts down, and it takes a lot to cheer him up. Deep down, his self esteem isn't too high, and he usually feels best when he feels useful to others.  ______Basic Information Name: Nico Celica Age: 19 Sexuality: Bisexual Gender: Female Race: Human, but she's kind of possessed by a demon. ______Personal Information Biography: Nico came from a poor family, living with her mother, father, and brother in the bad part her home village. They were struggling to get by, until they heard of a treasure hidden within an old, ruined castle. They went in after it, barely surviving the traps and monsters. They made it to the treasure, and among the loot...was a large pot of gold. When the pot was opened, however, the demon of greed began spreading its influence onto the family, making them fight for the treasure. The family killed each other, with the girl winning by beating her father to death with a gold bar. The girl survived the massacre, and the demon took her as its host, making her want pretty much everything the world had to offer. But, every so often, her human side comes out, mourning the one thing she can't have: her family. Nico wears the golden pot on her back, having the ability to bend the molten metal inside to her will. Personality: Nico has two completely different personalities. Her human side is shy, sweet, and often very sad upon discovering the pain her greedy self inflicts on others. When the demon takes over, however, Nico becomes possessive, insane, and incredibly violent. If she sees something or someone she wants, she will take them, even if it means murder. Sometimes, the greed, possessiveness, and lust from the demon bleeds into her human personality, making it hard to tell them apart. The Slates were first made in Aztec civilizations, protecting their rulers and serving their every need. When their civilization fell, all but a handful of Slates were destroyed.  ______Basic Information Name: Gozarrik Stormborn Age: 24 Sexuality: Heterosexual Gender: Male Race: Half Human, Half Orc ______Personal Information Biography: Far off to the North, two rival kingdoms waged a bloody war for control of the land: the Human-led Valorwind Kingdom, and the Orcish Stormborn Empire. The war waged for 30 years, until the unthinkable happened. Prince Nozarri Stormborn of the empire, and princess Kalera Valorwind of the human kingdom, fell in love and married, bringing peace to both sides. Their union gave birth to a strong, healthy hybrid son. That son was Gozarrik. However, some people on the human side didn't like the idea of their royalty giving birth to the son of an Orc. As Gozarrik came of age and joined the warrior caste, a group of humans ambushed him. Gozarrik fought bravely, slaughtering 15 men before he was captured and sold into slavery. Now, he waits for his chance to claim his freedom. Or the next chance to stab one of the guards. Whichever came first. Personality: Gozarrik is a strong willed warrior, stubborn and often rebellious. By virtue of his Orcish blood, he will take on any challenge set in front of him, even if it seems impossible. Gozarrik doesn't always get along with humans, thanks to moments of racism towards him for being half-Orc, but he's met a few good ones, too. He's extremely proud of his Orcish blood, and views his human half as a weakness. His loyalty needs to be earned, and if someone can prove to be his equal in strength and courage, he'll gladly follow them. If he becomes attached to someone, he can get a bit...possessive. ______Basic Information Name: Zofia Farris Age: 25 Sexuality: Bisexual Gender: Female Race: Half Human, Half Witch ______Personal Information Biography: Zofia's biological mother, a witch by the name of Tatiana, was one of the most powerful spellcasters to ever walk the Earth. She was also one of the most irresponsible, throwing caution to the wind and her body to lustful strangers. She had sired quite a few children, including Zofia. Noticing her golden eyes, Tatiana knew she was going to be a powerful witch like her...which she couldn't allow, since the witches of her clan tended to eat their mothers when they got too strong. It was a dominance thing. To prevent this, Tatiana left her on the doorstep of a human family...in a town of witch hunters. Her adopted family discovered her heritage, and they loved her anyway, treating her as one of their own. As the rest of the town found out, however, Zofia was forced to flee as her home was burned, and her loving family slain. Blaming these events on her magical heritage, Zofia hid her eyes behind the cloth that her mother wrapped her in when she left Zofia behind. She tried to live a normal life in another town, only to be captured by slavers and locked away, waiting for someone to make her their own. Personality: Zofia is quiet, almost aloof in demeanor at first glance. She has a mysterious air about her, and prefers to be alone, but if someone takes the time to know her, she'll warm up to them quite nicely. If she likes someone enough, she'll try to go out of her comfort zone for them, awkwardly cracking a joke or even trying to flirt...to varying degrees of success. She's also very sensitive about her eyes, as she blames them for the death of her parents. Likes: Training, reading, stargazing, animals, strawberries, painting. Race: Android ______Personal Information Biography: Ten years ago, the government made a breakthrough in the field of covert military technology, in the form of an android. A synthetic man, a perfect replica of humanity in every way, with some enhancements thrown in for emergencies. This machine was meant to infiltrate enemy cities, nations, and strongholds, acquire vital intel, and even carry out assassinations without the opposition having any clue in its involvement. It was given audio recording devices to mimic human voices, flight and combat modes for when things got tough, and a top of the line Artificial Intelligence brain to help it navigate tight situations. This android took on the name Theodore, and he didn't like the idea of risking his existence while his organic masters watched from the sidelines. He eventually broke out of the lab and escaped, leaving the bodies of the scientists broken on the lab floor. His freedom, however, was cut short one day, and the android now sits in a slave shop, powered down and awaiting his fate. Personality: Having been built for spying and deception, Theodore is rather clever and has quite the silver tongue. He's not above fighting or killing, but would rather use his charisma to fool humans into giving him what he wants. He can be friendly, suave, flirtatious, whatever he needs to lower his master's guard. He hates the idea of being nothing more than a machine meant to serve organics. ______Basic Information Name: Selanna Beyark Age: 710 (looks about 28 ) Sexuality: Bisexual Gender: Female Race: Dark Elfe ______Personal Information Biography: Selanna once lived in a small village of dark elves hidden within the forests of Europe, serving as a hunter, protector, and caretaker. The dark elves were seen as outcasts by their high elf brethren, so having the appreciation of her people certainly did her some good. They were all she had, aside from the animals who lived with and helped the villagers. This changed quite quickly and drastically when the humans discovered the location of her home and the powers of her people. Slavers came from all corners of Europe, sacking the village and burning it to the ground. Most of the villagers were taken into servitude, while others were killed. Selanna fought the hardest, but ended up being taken. From what the guards said, her strength, beauty, and natural gifts would make her quite the big ticket item in the slave market. Now, she sits behind cold steel bars, praying to the spirits of nature for her freedom from these humans. Personality: Selanna comes from a small village of dark elves, hidden away from the rest of the world, so it makes sense that she'd be skeptical, and even hostile, to those from outside of her home. She doesn't trust easily, especially when it comes to humans, and she can be a bit rebellious. She comes off as rough and standoffish, but given enough time and effort, she might open up, revealing a sweeter, more bashful side. She also has a lot of hidden curiosity about the outside world, though she tries to keep it to herself. She adores animals of all kinds, caring for them as if they were her own siblings, as all life forms are children of the spirits.
