With the patching up of the medium sized hole from earlier (twice, she might add, like god damn she had a good eye obviously), Adelaide had been looking forward to a little bit of rest and relaxation before her next job was passed over. However, it seemed there were other plans taking place without her knowledge: when she arrived to turn in her sheet and sign out, the officer told her she had to go back and clean it. (Hadn't she read, the guy had phrased it specifically.)
"You need to write that s**t in red or something," the older woman groused as she was forced to turn around and walk all the way back to the electric fence. And look, in the time it had taken to get to the building at all, more infected and undying had appeared. They even had the courtesy to die right in plain sight or something.
"Jesus..." She began to fix her braid again just in case.

The first dude she tried to take care of still looked fresh. She swore it was still twitching and moaning--or maybe that was just the hoard in general they could still hear from far beyond. Rolling up her sleeves, Adelaide worked to push it off as safely as possible, but her fingers slipper and touched the chain link fence, delivering a quick shock and causing her to yelp a sharper curse.

She was more careful on the second guy. Using her new fishing hook, the older woman began to drag piece by piece off until eventually there was a semblance of...well, not cleanliness, but the spot was ready now in case something else tried to get in. Made her weapon smell nasty, though.

And with the fourth body pulled off delicately, the job seemed done. And now Adelaide really needed a shower.
