After waking up on the ground, after passing out, Dylan got far away from those thorns. He still didn't want to go into the thorns, but he also didn't want to go back into the fog, so instead he just wandered around outside.

OOC: SCENARIO 6

Scenario requirements:Your character wanders around outside, too scared to go into the hospital, too scared to go back to the fog. At some point the fog encroaches, and envelops them entirely. They begin to hear voices from all directions, and it directly shatters their psyche as they are no longer able to process or comprehend what or who they are. They wander the fog for hours, trapped in a state of non-living, as they begin to develop several personas, and talk to each persona of themselves to cope with the situation.

Eventually the effect subsides, and they escape the fog, feeling shaken. It feels like however, a switch has become undone, and they might become unstable again, to the point of even being taken over by the other personas.

If rping this event with multiple people, you only have to pick ONE person to get trapped by the fog, as the other people simply search for them. At the end as the fog recedes they can find them again!

When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter

He was terrified. He was all alone, and he didn't know where anyone else was. He didn't know why they were avoiding him. Or maybe he was avoiding them. He felt hot, and a little nauseous. Was he coming down with something? Was he infected?

Everything was frustrating, and all he wanted to do was curl up. He couldn't. There was no where safe, and he paced, staying between the fog and the building. He didn't want to get too close to either, but at some point, the fog had come to him. It had surrounded him completely.

Dylan? Hey, you. The voices were coming from all around him, calling for him, talking to him. Where have you been, man? Are you coming home soon darling? It was all too much, and he snapped. He didn't have the answers, he didn't know anything. He didn't even know who he was. He was lost, a ghost in the fog.

There was nothing left at all.

He wandered for hours, days, minutes, it was impossible to tell.

"Who are you?" A voice said.

"I don't know." Dylan said, his voice full of uncertainty.

"I know who you are."

"Who am I?"

"A failure, that's who. Never going to live up to your big brother. Never going to succeed. Always a failure." Dylan wanted to respond, but he didn't know what to say. Was that who he was? A failure? It didn't feel quite right. "I don't know if that's true."

"You don't know anything."

"Don't listen to him," another voice added. It was a younger sounding voice, an innocent sounding one. "He's just a big meanie, and doesn't' like anyone."

"Go away kid.

"You go away."

"Do you know who I am?"

"Uh huh." The younger voice answered. "You're me. Or at least who I will be. That was terribly unhelpful.

"Please, please don't hurt me," A third voice added. It sounded much like the first, just a little higher pitched, and a lot more scared. "Please. Don't let the monsters get me."

Dylan didn't know how to respond. He wanted to claim that there weren't any monsters here, but he wasn't sure that that was true. There were monsters everywhere, and for all he knew, he was one. "It'll be okay," he finally answered. He wasn't sure if that was true, but he had to say something reassuring.

"No it won't. It'll never be okay again."

He didn't know what to say about that. He didn't know how to respond. It was hard not knowing who he was. Maybe he was a failure. He couldn't reassure himself. Wait. These were all him. This was him. Dylan. The fog faded, and he was able to escape from it again.

Or at least mostly escaped. He felt shaken, nervous, worried. Had all of those voices been him? It felt like he wasn't completely in his body anymore, that there were others that could take over. Would that happen? Could that happen?

With his luck, probably.

He glanced around nervously. He could feel the people staring at him again. He needed to get somewhere safe. Maybe if he went closer to the hospital, but not inside he'd be farther away from the dangerous fog, and the faces in it.
