Tensions were high, and eventually the truth has come out; Ryuuichi never was meant to come to the academy as the Nixie representative. His daughter, Athena, had forged the papers. Now, the true representative has arrived and wasted no time arresting Ryuuichi, yanking him from his daughter before he had a moment to say goodbye.
Some of the students who witnessed the event have decided to band together and find the woman. They are intent to save Ryuuichi from whatever fate his people have in-store for him, and to reunite the man with his daughter. These students have begun their search and left the cafeteria. Once they find the woman will she take pity on them? Probably not, but they have to try!
Note: Only students who are seeking Elena should be here! This RP is solely for the purpose of finding Elena and talking to her!

Things were starting to get out of hand again, but at least the other grimm was starting to leave. His friend, the geist, was also on the way out. Joining them was a little freshling grimm, putting their total at four kids on the hunt for The Scary Lady. Four was a decent number... Four was safe... wasn't it?
At Tobias's tug he started off for real, exiting the cafeteria and out into the hall. He sniffed, trying to pick up on the scent... He couldn't see very well, and sometimes his ears didn't work spectacularly either, but he could smell. The scent of the Nixie was something unlike anything he'd smelled before, so it wasn't that hard to pick up on a strong scent leading away from the cafeteria. They just needed to catch up.
"I-- I think they went this way.." He pointed up ahead, still sticking close to Tobias for now. Once the others were ready, he started walking, sniffing along to way to make sure they were still following the strongest scent. This was terrifying. What if she hurt them like she hurt Ryuuichi? No... Ava wouldn't let that happen. The caretakers wouldn't let that happen. He'd been told when they took him from The Bad Place that he'd be safe here and no more grown-ups would hurt him...
Kobe followed the other's closely, sticking more closely to Tobias than anyone else... since he really only knew him. He tried to smell around but was more than overwhelmed by all the scents around. Realization hit him, what were they going to do when they found them... if they found them? They couldn't just demand the women to stop and let him go... and what if she lashed out at them? Kobe didn't want anyone else to get hurt.
He could feel a whimper try to escape, swallowing it and looking to Tobias and the others. Tobi looked so brave right now... Kobe couldn't help but admire his packmate. His gaze shifted to the others that had followed along, they were all so brave... and himself too! He had gone too even if he was scared. He followed the others, looking around for any signs of where they could have gone.

Yue started to go before she remembered what Zahneel had suggested a little while ago. They needed to make sure they didn’t go in guns blazing so the best way right now would have been those towels. She looked around the cafeteria looking for something that would hold water a bit longer than flimsy paper towels. Well right near the cafeteria was a janitor’s closet…. Those had to be good and maybe she could get a bucket to hold water, although if they had gotten far enough away she didn’t relish the thought of carrying the bucket around. Wait there had to be supplies and towels in the kitchen area right?
“Uh before we um go and track them down, let’s just make a quick little stop to go and get towels. It’s best if we do have an excuse when we track them down.” She replied, but just in case she wasn’t able to stop the now charged and excited little puppies she was at least going to grab the towels and run back to them. She made a note that when everything was settled she was going to throw herself into working on her teleporting.
Ryuuichi limped along in front of Elena. His knees were screaming in agony, his shoulder hurt where she'd wrenched it, and the cuffs were not helping. He hissed slightly as she shoved one of his shoulders around another turn. Considering this was the third turn since the cafeteria, he was starting to wonder if she even knew where she was trying to go. The campus seemed rather large from the maps they'd been given, so it was quite possible that she had indeed lost her way. He wasn't about to offer that thought though, she'd probably say that of course she knew where she was going, and there was still a small chance she did.
He'd given up trying to talk to her as well, she wasn't going to listen to anything he said anyway, and he was starting to doubt that she was even Elena. Had his wife had any sisters? No...he would have known if she did, that of course didn't rule out the fact that one of her parents hadn't imbued a stone back in their wild youth...although considering her parents that was highly unlikely. They'd blamed him for her death until the day they'd died. No attempt of his had ever been enough to prove that the best part of him had died that day too. So many fights with them, over little Athena, they'd wanted to take her away from him, his only child, the only happiness that he'd had after Elena was gone. It had only been their failing health that had allowed him to keep his little girl with him.
Athena...where had it all gone so wrong? Well that was obvious enough, he had never really liked to talk about Elena with her, it was too painful, looking into those golden eyes so very much like her mothers. She'd gotten most of her personality from Elena too. He was sad to admit that most of their problems, were because of him. He'd wanted her to be strong and independent and kind just like her mother, but then hadn't been able to cope with a daughter who actually was all those things. Thus had started the comments of "just like your mother," in a tone that should have read approval, but instead said disappointment. He'd never been disappointed in her...well except for maybe the Grimm boy, but most of the flaws he saw in Myles, he had to admit were the flaws Elena's parents had seen in him. He was such a hypocrite.
He'd been so lost in thought he hadn't noticed the slight deviation in the pavement and lost his balance, unable to use his hands to steady himself he landed hard on one of his knees, causing him to see stars and unable to breath for a moment from the pain.

To be truthful, she was only half sure where she was going. There was probably a shorter way back to whence she had come, but following her own earlier path was easier...And less confusing. She didn't mind the silence though, left to her own thoughts. She probably should find somewhere she could get a couple humidifiers for the both of them, preferably with comfortable chairs. She could tell his legs weren't cooperating too well, and to be fair her hip was screaming at her. She tried at least to keep a pace he could keep up with, though was still a little rushed, not wanting to be on her feet for longer than she had to be. She didn't know why this man was insisting she knew something, she didn't have a daughter, she had no family at all. She'd been found in a Nixie city long ago, remembering nothing but her name, and she'd been taken in by the citizens as their ward. They'd patched up the wound on her hip, fed her, and helped her start a new life. Did she really belong somewhere else? Impossible. If she had a family, they would have come for her.
When he finally lost his balance, she did make a move to try and catch him, falling with him and hitting the pavement hard as well. It knocked the wind out of her, but she barely managed to her knees and tried to help steady him without a word. Maybe...Taking a moment to rummage in her clothes, she finally took out a key and unlocked the handcuffs, moving them to his front instead. Maybe that would help...?
Unable to keep to a more sedate pace in her fretting, Zahneel darted around, sniffing the air, tracking the scent of nixie. When she remembered who she was with, she would slow down and job back to the Headmistress' side. Only she'd catch the scent again and chase after it.
Well, hopefully the older woman wouldn't mind.
She paused, eyes closed and face up in the air as the scent came through stronger this time. Nodding in satisfaction, she waited for Ava and left off dashing around wildly. And it wasn't long before she could see the pair.
Only to see Ryuuichi stumble and fall and Elena fall with him in the act of trying to catch him. Letting out a soft, distressed cry, Zahneel shot an apologetic look at the Headmistress before darting off again, this time to help the pair back to their feet.

The school grew quiet as the storm swept by.
The storm had taken the form of a medium sized Demon, green eyes swirling with a dangerous wave of disdain. She had long ago snapped, the breaking point being a crying Grimm and her frantic plea. Enough had been said. Enough had been done. It was time for Ava to seize back her home and chase out the intruders if they wished to traumatize her children further.
The storm had left chatter dead as it followed the frantic pup, keeping a healthy distance as it practically prowled closer to where the Nixie woman was. Her fingertips twitched here and there, a faint blue spark gracing the tips of her fingers as her magic slowly warmed up, awaiting her summon. By the time they reached the pair she had wiped her face of any emotion, the aura around her enough to establish just how done she was. Her hands snapped into fists, dispelling the magic as she finally set her eyes upon the pair.
Oh, look. The old man had fallen. She was pretty sure it had something to do with the fact he was not allowed his cane and instead forced to fight his disability to keep up with the woman, which last time she heard was illegal in most places. Stopping her approach, the Demon kept her gaze on the two, giving a brief wave when Zahneel sent an apologetic look her way. The girl was fine. Pride swelled in her chest briefly before her bitter hatred returned.
"I allowed you to seize your prisoner." She stated, voice remaining hard as steel. "Not to traumatize my students and his daughter. I do not care his crimes or where you two come from; involving the young is never forgivable." Her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth, head cocking towards the side as she heard the sound of footsteps. A crowd? Now?

There was a storm brewing somewhere, that much he could smell... not really see, but definitely smell. It was making it hard to make out the scents of the Nixie, but thankfully he'd spotted them- just in time to see Ryuuichi fall. He'd been scary himself, coming in all angry like that and grabbing Athena... he wasn't sure if he liked Ryuuichi that much, but everyone else had decided that he was a nice person... and then there was the added factor of Athena having lied about something so important...
"Th--they're up here..!" He looked back to Tobias, Kobe and the trailing Yue, then started picking up his pace... He didn't even notice Ava and Zahneel until Zahneel was darting ahead to help The Scary Woman and Ryuuichi back up to their feet... How brave...
One look at Ava almost stopped him completely, though. She seemed mad. Even if her face was blank, he knew anger when he saw it. He'd seen it plenty of times... But Ava was supposed to keep them safe, right? She was mad at the Nixie... right? Surely it was still safe to go over? He continued until they joined up with the others, and then stopped, breathing heavily.
"Y--you can't-- you can't... t--take them.. st--stop it... ...please?" His voice cracked again, Nine this was terrifying. With Ava so angry and the nervousness from earlier still not worn off it was a miracle he'd even managed to say something... but he HAD to! She had to know that taking that Nixie away could mean taking the Grimm away too!

Tobias trailed behind Neptune at a reasonable pace, glad the other was taking the leading spot for now. He nearly stopped when they rounded a corner and was met with the sight of the two Nixies falling over, hands flying up to his face nervously. Oh no! He caught Neptune's glance, nodding despite the tremor rushing through his body.
Tobias was quick after Neptune to begin his own cracked and yelped speech, hands wringing together. "A-and you c-can't just t-take him f-from his daughter! S-she's al-all alone! He d-didn't even do it! He i-is inn-innocent! He's an innoCENT MAN." He covered his mouth as his words became a shrill squeak at the end, ears flopping back as he pressed into Neptune, trembling violently. He did it. He said something.
... Were they going to take him away now for speaking? Ava wouldn't let that happen! He trusted her! R-right? She had enough power to help everyone, right?
It was pretty plain to see that they were terrified, and yet they were standing up and trying to at least do something. Yue wanted to scoop up Tobias and tell him she was so ridiculously proud of him for doing what he thought was right. However it was hardly the time and Tobias needed to be able to stand on his own especially since it was only a matter of time until she left to go to university. Stepping out from behind them she at least walked forward and held out the towels.
“I don’t know how Nixie treat their prisoners but at the very least you should try to keep them comfortable. We... I have some towels for you both to keep moist at the very least. Can’t we sit down and try to get to the bottom of this instead of dragging people off? Tobias is right, He’s innocent.”
There she had added her piece and she was just going to stand there offering the towels still, besides if things did get heated again she was in the perfect place to shuffle all her grimm companions behind her. As much as she wanted them to grow and be strong she wasn’t going to let them turn into targets for any aggression either.

Ryuuichi let out a soft groan as he was put back on his feet. All he wanted right now was to sit down, and he was afraid to test his knee to see if it would hold he weight, fairly certain that if he did, he'd end up back on the ground.
He took a deep breath and then hissed slightly as she suddenly changed the position of his hands from behind him to now in front of him. Big help that was now! He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, it wouldn't do any good to lose his temper right now.
He opened his eyes though as he realized that they'd drawn a crowd again. This one again mostly Grimm, and the headmistress? What in Below was she doing here? Ah, "traumatizing" students. That made sense...sort of? To be fair though, Elena should have asked him to step outside before putting cuffs on him. That was the more "professional" way to do it, not that anyone cared what he thought at the moment.
What surprised him more was that Athena had, confessed? To these strangers, and now they were hear to plead for him? Why wasn't his daughter doing that! That was her place to clear this up, but then again he didn't exactly what his only child getting arrested too. He let out a breath. "Athena...child..." he shook his head.
The towel offered by the Geist looked very tempting, but since he wasn't sure he could support himself on both legs with any confidence he refrained from taking one as using it would require him to lean over slightly and the last thing he wanted to do was land on his face on the concrete.

Throwing grateful looks at everyone who'd gone with Tobias, Zahneel hovered near the nixie male, as he got back to his feet.
"You can rest your weight against me, sir," she said, a worried frown creasing her forehead. "I'll help you walk."
Smiling over at Yue, the grimm girl grabbed one of the offered towels and carefully slung it around Ryuuichi's shoulders. Granted, this was hardly the time or place for smiles, but she was so relieved that Ava had said she'd help and that Tobias and Neptune and the others had gotten here so quickly. If the situation hadn't been so tense, she might have started wagging her tail and bear-hugging them all.
It was just too bad that she couldn't think of a way to unobtrusively signal the others to form a protective cluster around the nixie man. She wasn't sure what Ava was going to do or what Elena was capable of. But she did know that this probably wasn't the best place for a group of kids and an old man to be if the sparks really started to fly.

Kobe was shocked to see Ava there as well as the nixies that had fallen down. He wanted to help ryuu up but he knew he wasn't nearly strong enough. He was relieved that another Grimm had helped him. Kobe listened quietly to the students and Ava say their bits. He'd have joined if he knew what to say. He looked up in surprise as Tobias spoke out, his tail wagging only slightly. He tilted his head at the women nixie, wondering what she'd do... Surely she wouldn't attack.. Right?
Kobe looked back to Tobias then around to see if the rest of his pack was there. He scooted a little closer to Tobias, knowing if he stuck with him that he'd be safe. He would have taken his head to comfort but he was already seeking comfort in another and... The hand holding probably was more for himself anyways.
The help to her feet was appreciated, even if the attention of various parties was now upon them. Her hip was stinging slightly as she stood, though her face showed no recognition of the pain. She was an elder, she was a representative of her people, she needed to stand strong. Murmuring a few words of strength to the dark colored Grimm who had helped her and her new companion to their feet, she finally turned her attention to the headmistress. Gods, what was it now? Was she not allowed to just go with her prisoner? What was it with these demons and their pickiness.
"I wasn't the one who grabbed his daughter and forcibly turned her. I stopped him from harming her further." Elena remarked, frowning, "If anything, his entrance into the room was more explosive than mine. He refused to cooperate." She did, however, feel a bit guilty over her other students, "How was I supposed to get him then? I doubt he'd cooperate on his own. I do apologize for having your students see something of the real world. It happens every day, probably even more in these territories than our own according to what I've heard from the Imps." Did she really want to shelter the children that much? How would they survive and be independent if they were coddled for their entire lives? These Demons made no sense, but then again, they were the ones who weren't to be trusted, especially with their betrayal of the Grimm in the war...
The cries of the students made her frown. They had been far too sheltered. "He's still a criminal until we have evidence otherwise." She shook her head, "He's still betrayed his race and compromised the safety of all of our children. How would you feel if someone left the gates of this school wide open for anyone to waltz right in? Safety should always come first." The mention of the younger Nixie made her shake her head again, "She's independent, or at least should be. Perhaps if there's more evidence that she's done something, she can also be tried by the courts." They weren't exactly helping Athena's case, and Elena knew she couldn't run far, not without attracting much attention. At the moment though, she felt like she should handle the more dangerous of the criminals. After all, independent or not, she was still a child. Adults knew how to fight, how to escape. Obviously her attention should be settled on Ryuuichi.
The mention of towels...and sitting...made her consider for a moment. "I don't believe I'd accept sitting out here. It's too open. A room would be more acceptable." The hard benches would be murder right now, she'd never be able to get to her feet, and for now she needed to remain strong. Trying to hide her disability, she naturally put her weight on her bad hip, eyes not showing one bit of discomfort though her breathing changed. Just breathe through it, don't let them know...especially don't let him know... "One that can be locked, preferably."
They didn't have to give in, this she knew for sure, though given that she was the true ambassador to her race, it might be a better idea to give in...Plus somewhere that was enclosed might make it easier to keep her skin, as well as Ryuuichi's, moist.
