Sunny reached the hospital and tried to explore the outside, hoping to hide from whatever was following her in the fog. Carefully and somewhat quietly, she snuck around the courtyard, still breathing heavy from her previous chase. Take a look in the hospital, her thoughts suggested. Or were they hers? Occasionally she eyed the hospital building, wondering if she should go inside. However, there wasn't a single thing that looked inviting about the dilapidated building. That's a terrible idea, she said in her head.
A glowing light caught her attention and Sunny traveled towards it despite her previous experiences with grandeur sources of light. It was a campfire, warm and inviting with other survivors huddled around it.
You have a knife.. they aren't even paying attention. I doubt the youngest would put up a fight.
The thoughts danced through her head. Sunny shook it off, confused. Where was this coming from? No, no.. that knife was for emergencies only. She never knew when she'd need one, but after that Casino experience she kept it close.
Sunny observed the scene before deciding to go over, certain she could rest a moment and perhaps exchange assistance. They looked weary and truly weren't paying attention.

Scenario requirements:
Your character finds a campfire, and there's a few people settled around it. The people stationed at the campfire are fixated at it,and almost say nothing to you. You can (and any other players in the thread) talk to them as you wish. When you are done talking to them all, this event is over!
Character 1: A girl with long black hair. She stares into the campfire and continues to say the words she lied over and over.
Character 2: A balding, old man. He begins to recount a story about his past, about how he was a fisherman. All he fished up were dead bodies. He continues to talk about fishing up his friends. He continues to talk about his wife and how he fished her up too. The story gets more and more morbid.
Character 3: A small boy, maybe five years old. He is looking straight at you the entire time. As you approach him, he whispers I know why this is is happening. If you question him further he doesn't say anything. However if you bribe him with a food item (DISCARD IMMEDIATELY AFTER) he will take it and continue speaking. I am Peter Pan. You blink, and as you do, you realize it wasn't a child at all, but simply an skeleton corpse of a child.
When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter

She approached the group slowly with her hands up, showing she meant no harm. "Hey, hello? My name is Sunny; I don't mean any trouble. I'm a little lost. Mind if I sit with you guys?"
No response. Sunny looked at the group. They looked the worse for wear, though if Sunny had a mirror for a good look at herself lately, she'd see the same. It was something she never thought about, but it was quite odd: how long it's been since she took a look at herself. The dirt, the bags under her eyes, how frizzy her hair had gotten. You could suppose none of that mattered anymore.
Well, they didn't say no, she thought.
Sunny approached closer and eyed them all, though none of them met her gaze. First, she turned to a girl with long black hair. "Are you lost in this fog too?" she asked the girl. Still no response. The girl didn't even pay Sunny any attention. Instead, she was fixated on the fire and muttered under her breath. Sunny listened closely. 'She lied, she lied, she lied, she lied..'
It went on and on. Sunny started to feel uneasy and instead turned her attention to the old man.
A cacophony of hollow clicks and clatters grew louder and louder as a large, misshaped creature screeched and clacked and howled its way out of the fog.
"I was a fisherman," the old man began. That was as far as he made it when the creature rolled over him, bones cracking as they were ground beneath the twisted bloodied metal bingo cage. His feeble voice continued, fading as he recounted the bodies he fished up and up and it was all he fished and soon he began to fish up his friends and --
The creature rolled back over him. The old man continued.
"Shut up SHUT UP! You said -- you said --" The fiend screeched, its bloodied claws reaching to clasp at its head where its ears would be if it had ears. Its torso-mouth continued to screech. "You said -- you said! You lied! Liar! You said -- you said -- you said she would be okay!"

Someone took the time to carve the names of various body parts onto the skulls, however why are you looking at that when there's a friggin huge mouth where its torso should be. And instead of legs this... thing is quite literally rolling around via bingo cage. What. To Escape: Escape by fleeing or deal 7 damage to cause the Infected to flee!
Bonus Effects: - Bosses when repelled successfully decrease your infection rate by -10! - If your character "recognizes" the original form of the GM boss, it can ICly call out to them. This will let them do double damage for the rest of the battle!
Sunny didn't even get to thoroughly observe the elderly man's balding head before he was crushed by the appalling creature.
She scuttled back as it rolled over him again and again and again, a horrified look on her face as she tried to make out its rampant exclamations. She gasped and covered her mouth. It looked entirely monstrous and BINGO back at the casino came to mind, given the blatant clanking of its bingo-cage based mobility. "Oh- oh my god." Sunny wondered if it came from the casino itself.
Reaching for her knife, Sunny awkwardly held it. Now was as good an emergency as ever. Quickly she ran up and tried to stab it with forceful grunts, hoping to save what's left of the old man or at least his companions.

The knife went into it with a solid thunk thunk thunk. It clattered and clinked as it rolled back, the metal cage hissing and screeching and crunching as it ran back and forth over what used to be the old man.
"YOU SAID -- YOU SAID -- you said lies!"
The thick tongue lashed out, licking and whipping and slashing with drool and blood and a thick unknown substance.

Sereva had also been attracted by the fire, she was curious to what was happening as people were gathered around it. Her footsteps were heavy as her body was slightly exuasted. But her muscles only grew more rigid as she heard that sound. That constant clanking... it was enough to make something in her stomach tighten up. Only when her eyes strained against the faint darkness surrounding the fire did she see that thing that was approaching. Only to her horror as it began to run over the old man.
The purpled hair woman grit her teeth together, it wasn't the time for her knees to grow weak but yet her paranoid side was whispering to her in the back of her mind. Telling her it was alright to run away. Shaking her head she stood firm. This was something that needed to be approached, or it would keep roaming and maybe even haunt her. Taking out her knife Sereva watched as someone tried the same trick. Sunny Day only seemed to have so much success before the monster continued to attack. Holding her knife up she lashed it out at the tongue that was thrashing and slithering out of the fiend's mouth. Attempting to cut off apart of it but knowing she had to be quick pulling back lest it try to take a hold of her.

The hospital had been one hell of an experience, but he had left after the vision of Kyle that he'd had. Did his friend really blame him for everything? Was it all really his fault? What could he have done to change their fate, if they really had suffered on day zero? Were these Kyle's final thoughts before dying? What about Jade's? With a grimace he wandered outside the building for a while until he came upon a campfire. He was drawn to its warmth as well as the small assembly of people around it. There was no indication that anyone was speaking so he joined, taking up some space beside an older man who was speaking with someone beside him. It was a story of some sort and, though he was generally against eavesdropping, he decided it wouldn't hurt to listen in.
Who knew, maybe he could learn something about where they were...
He hadn't noticed that there were others around the campfire, having been engulfed in the stories started by the old fisherman gramps. It was fascinating in a sick and twisted kind of way, and he found that despite his urge to gag there was something about the story he was telling that was...interesting. Until he was savagely run over by something. Something grotesque and on some kind of a roller ball bingo contraption. His eyes flashed to the mangled body of the old man as the thing spoke, visions of Kyle and Jade and Leiah being ripped apart playing in fast-forward in his brain.
He had to shake his head slightly to get rid of the images and focus on the thing as it spoke, and without really thinking much more he pulled out his fishing rod and charged, the only thing registering right in that moment was that he needed to kill this thing, whatever it was.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Medium build, 6'1" and a lean 159lbs. He sports light skin (that's more prone to tanning but he can still get sunburns if he's not careful), chestnut brown hair that he keeps short and only haphazardly styled, and light, hazel-brown eyes.
As the monstrosity's tongue whipped at her and covered the girl in miscellaneous grime, Sunny's head swirled with voices both present and imagined. She staggered and gripped her head, the voices getting harsher with each growing whisper into booming shouts.
"S-stop. STOP!" she shouted. Sunny trembled and looked herself over. It was only once help came that she started to snap out of it. If it weren't for a familiar face, she would have hardly recollected herself. Sereva, she remembered, followed by another.
After having watched the others attempt to fight the monster off, Sunny's unknown voices quieted to a whisper as she clutched her knife and drove it into the monster again. A bit of willpower returned to her.

It was blow-for-blow whenever he went in for a hit, gritting his teeth and finally being able to focus despite the voices starting to echo in his mind again.

Still he swung away, taking out his anxiety brought on by the voices on the thing that was immediately in front of him in an almost reckless abandon.

Seeing the creature leave them, Sunny rushed to the old man's side. What was left of him anyway. A mushed, bloody mass. And yet he still muttered about dead bodies and being a fisherman. "I don't understand.." The old man should be a dead body himself. No, she didn't understand at all. She was just utterly disturbed.
Not wasting any time, Sunny turned to the last person who had been sitting by the fire. A boy who had been, and still is, just watching. Before she even had a chance to speak, he told her, 'I know why this is happening.'
Sunny's face crumpled in confusion. "What? How? Why is it, then?" she asked a series of short questions trying to get an answer, but received no response.
liar, liar
Sunny glanced at the others as if they had said it and then back at the boy. Kids; maybe he didn't really know what he was talking about.
"Listen, it's not safe," she told the little boy. "We need to leave. We all should before that thing comes back.." Still no response.
She was getting frustrated now. Can't he see she was trying to help? "Fine, listen," she told him while taking out her red herring and placing it in his arms, "I have food. You can come with me and it'll be okay."
Finally she received a response. 'I am Peter Pan.' Again, Sunny's face formed a confused frown. However, this time it only took a second - a blink - and the image of the boy was reduced to a child's skeleton.
Sunny gasped and jumped away at the sight. She looked at the other two here, wondering if they saw this.
THEY did this, the voice was back again, not even a whisper.
She took a step back and looked at them in horror. "No.." They had just helped her. How could they be responsible? But perhaps this is why they arrived here in the first place.. Sunny succomed and turned around, running towards a hospital entrance. It wasn't a chance she was willing to take as the voices swirled in her head. "Stay away!" she shouted back at them as she ran.

Sereva almost let out a temporary sigh of relief, as no one was left but those who had originally been around the fire... there were no monsters to fight now. Blinking back tension she looked over at the little boy that Sunny was now talking to. She was going to speak to him as well, but as soon as she stepped fowrward the facade crumbled for her as well. Seeing the skeleton in shambles she gripped onto her head. Hearing her whispers start to conflict her interest 'Run away...' 'they did this...' 'kill...'. Backing out she began to walk away from the fire, needing another scene to clear her head.
