You reach a long barricade of thorns on the other side of the wall. They seem to be moving, pulsating with a life of their own and gift out a strange light. Flowers begin to bloom on the wall. When you press your hand against one, you are immediately assaulted with a strange vision (roll 1d6 to see what it is).

1. You see a skyscraper. At the very top there is a greenhouse. You feel yourself hovering above the greenhouse before diving right into it. There is a beautiful garden inside it, almost like a biodome. In the center of the biodome is what looks like some sort of chalice

2. You see hundreds of dead bodies, and a strange feeling washes over you. Apathy. You stand over the bodies and continue searching for at least one survivor. You hear yourself speak. "Are humans really so fragile?"

3. You fight against humans, but this time they are armed. Their weapons hurt. You are frustrated. They are eligible, but none of them will truly accept your wisdom. You kill many without ever feeling accepted. The feeling continues until the vision is over.

4. You fight against creatures of shadows, what you would consider your own breathren. They come in all shapes and sizes, large beasts and dragons, demons and even the undead. They refuse your knowledge. They are not compatible. They beg, negotiate and even fight against you to stop. You assimilate them for their treachery and refusal to serve.

5. You sleep in a long chamber of vines. Inside it are rows and rows of crystals. Each one is important to you. You tap against one, and it resonates, and you feel a strange sense of satisfaction. This is the power you have collected from those living and dead.

6. [ There is no actual image in this vision. Instead, you are assaulted with hundreds, thousands of conflicting thoughts, emotions, and ideals, all of them not your character's own. Your actual character's nose begins to bleed, and they fall to the ground, convulsing. They are unable to roll any other visions from the above if they reach this prompt and eventually pass out ].

Otherwise, you may continue rolling until you have fulfilled the 250 word requirement for it!

When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's imnfection meter

Gretel felt the mist was alive or at least there was something lurked in the mist, she ran like the time she saw the janitor sank his teeth into the student's neck. Though panting, her eyes fixed ahead, through the thick layers of fog. She had a feeling that the fog was chasing after her, the infected too. Her lungs expanded and contracted to the biggest extent, Gretel felt sick and suffocated, she couldn't bear the cost of pausing for a rest. Her heart knocked rapidly against her chest, her stomach seemed to twist and stir. She knew she would soon reach her limitation.

For once, she begged herself moved until she saw the exit of the maze. Her legs were numb and frail, they cried in complaints for over-working. Gladly, she made it out. The fog dispersed, bringing a large abandoned building into sight. The hand not holding the torch reached out to grab on the bar of the old rusted gates like a runner touching the finish line. They rattled in impact, like a greeting for her arrival. The noise had drew the attention of the infected from afar, Gretel went around the wall surrounding the hospital until there was no sign of the infected.

There, she saw a wall with thorns, their appearances resembled that can be seen in zone one. They pulsated, reflecting they were alive. The buds on them bloomed slowly, the pedals twisted and opened. Gretel was captivated by its charm and obliviously, her hand touched one of them -

She was something else, those human weapons hurt too much. Gretel didn't know what she was, she simply felt vexed because of the stubborn humans. They didn't accept her, they pointed their guns, spears and swords towards her. Not wanting to waste more time or her anger went uncontrolled, she killed in disappointment, many with the feeling of denied. She killed, and killed, countless of people fell because of her........

The vision cut in faded and she recollected herself, craving for air. What is that? She memorized the last breathes of lives and the pang of frustration that annoyed her, yet it wasn't hers.

Resting while paying attention to the surrounding, Gretel recalled in the bar meeting, they said not touching the thorns and the fact that the mysterious person from the radio channel said it was the origin of the virus. She probably got infected, in misery, her hand accidentally landed on another flower.

She was floating, at least she felt she was. Up in midair, she saw the shiny greenhouse on top of a skyscraper. Gretel sensed she was hovering above it, slowly moving to the middle of it. Underneath was a beautiful garden, like one in fairy tale. Then the vision descends, as if she was on roller coaster. She went through the glass pieces in triangular shape but still hover in air. It consists of green vegetation, it felt amazing. In the middle was a small path, with the flora on two sides. Leading towards the end of the path made by large stone with smooth surface set a stage. On top of the stage, she saw a chalice, reflecting dazzling bright lights of the sun. It was so captivating, adorned by expensive gemstones. It infatuated Gretel, when she uncontrollably reached out like bewitched, the vision vanished.

Only a strange desire to see it again lingered.

Wishing to see the beautiful chalice once more, she vehemently touched the flower again. It wasn't what she wanted, invaded her sight was a bloodshed battlefield. Oddly, Gretel didn't feel sick or nauseous as she should have been. She felt nothing. The miserable status of the bodies didn't move her, she stepped on a distorted head and climbed up onto a higher position. The un-drying bloods on the bodies got onto her skin but she was callous. As if without a heart, she was sans sympathy.

"Are humans really so fragile?" With a frozen and flat tone, she heard herself saying while her eyes calmly scanned the battlefront dyed in dark red for one standing survivor.

She panted after the vision occupied her mind left, they were not her memories and she was clueless of what she saw. One thing she knew was that, the her in the dream was not herself but someone else. She accidentally saw somebody's memories, but who? The fog threatened to swallow her again, with a mindless glance, she saw Hansel looking back at her. Her heart skipped a beat but as she wanted to see clearly, he disappeared within the fog. Gretel shook her head, knowing he shouldn't be there since she was away from home. Yet, it was him, she won't mistook his face. The hand recoiled from the flower grasped onto the thorns, the anger from that day came back to her as she squeezed it.

"Ah......" She groaned in agony, her head hurt too much with many many thoughts, as if there were hundreds of people living in her mind. They had a keen argument that gave Gretel severe migraines. "Stop......."

The conflicting idea and emotions collided with each other, creating sparks and chaos to her mind. She held her head with both hands, pulled her hair painfully. One moment it was fear and sadness versus violence and joy, another moment a pang of despair pushed again hope. There a small children cried for his mother, another time a man tried to kill an infected. The conspiracy of government got into a debate with god was punishing us, one side recited references from the Bible while another side claimed the government was testing bio-weapon. A scientist proved his theory of super bacteria joined in, making it even heated. Her senses, emotions and thoughts were all overloaded, Gretel felt her head was close to its explosion. The fingers pressing against her head forcefully turned white as if it would help with the situation. What she wasn't notice was her nose began to bleed, bloods dripped on the white ruffle top.

Reluctantly, the pain that was too much to bear with made her collapsed onto the ground. Lying down horizontally, her breathe was a total mess as she attempted to retain her sanity. They didn't stop or leave her brain, the noises were deafening like horns in a serious traffic congestion.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She let out a heartrending shriek and fell, convulsed as she gradually lost her consciousness.
