Name: Libitina – “Libby” for short.
Gender: Female
Stage: Pokemon
Status: N/A
Short Bio:
Personality: Mischievous and sassy. While this intelligent meowstic does enjoy a good book she also has a Cheshire cat personality. Playful and cunning she would love to help you out should you prove capable of solving her cryptic clues of course. People, unfortunately, have a hard task of keeping her entertained whereas a good book can hook the girl’s interest for hours. Books and puzzles are your best defense against her because if she’s bored then some serious mischief will come into play. Scares and disaster are all a part of fun and play after all.

Don’t worry if you’re considered family by her she won’t torment you…to a certain degree.
Likes: Stories, Horror Films, Storms, Scaring others, Mirrors, Broken things, Sour worms, Fish, Ribbons, Jewelry, traditional music, Sarcasm and battles of wit.
Dislikes: Perky pokemon, boredom, overly sunny days, slime, super sweets, loud people, talkative people, and also crowds (in a small compact space at least)
Abilities: Psybeam, Disarming Voice, Sucker Punch, Confusion
Extra:

[Solo Treasure Hunt]

It was a stormy day. Fat drops of rain splattered nonstop against the window as the ground shook from the echoes of thunder. In the distance the sky flickered with a violet hue as lightning lit up the dark clouds. Safely inside Libby sat in her window seat with her face up against the glass. One, two, three… Another boom shook the floor beneath her. Mother Nature definitely was not letting them off easily this time. A faint smile crossed the meowstic’s features. It was really nice being able to watch the world turn dark so quickly.

As more lightning lit up the sky Libby’s tails began to twitch. For some reason storms always energized the meowstic and rather than wanting to nap she found herself moving. Her book forgotten on the ledge (yes, a rather peculiar meowstic that enjoyed the figures of human language) Libby jumped down and began to head outside of the room.

Stepping into the hallway opened another world of darkness. Since it was storming outside there was no sunlight to naturally light the hallways. So instead the dark wooden and faded wallpaper halls seemed endless, almost like a dark chasm. To scare strangers even more so were the flickers of movement that could be seen when one was walking in the hallway completely alone. Libby wasn’t impressed by the ghosts, however, and rather just kept walking past. They were just a part of her home after all, so why bother?

“Lame.” Rolling her eyes the meowstic just turned to head upstairs. Maybe she could find something fun to play with in the attic. Jumping on the old, creaky stairs was fun in itself. Libby listened as each creak echoed to the floor below. It would be fun if I could disappear when they came to check it out. Snickering quietly to herself Libby climbed up the rest of the stairs.

Up here the landing was less impressive. Since the attic itself had been connected to the original house, which had burned over a century ago, it held no glamour of luxury like the newer front part. Dusty floorboards looked dull and worn from age. The doorframe itself was peculiar in the fact that it was taller and narrower than most of the more modern styles. Standing tall on her paws Libby grabbed at the knob and managed to swing open the old thing.

In front of her were even more stairs. Stairs, to stairs, how many more? This wasn’t her first time visiting the attic so the question was more of teasing commentary. As she advanced the meowstic’s eyes took on a creepy glow in the dim light. Even with the storm there was still some gray light coming in from the old oval window in the back…just enough for her to see by.

Now to see what she could find up here.

Smirking Libby decided to go towards a dustier portion of the attic. She hadn’t looked through that corner yet. Maybe she would find something interesting there. A cursed doll or game perhaps? Purring at the thought the meowstic walked towards the looming pile of boxes. What was it they would say? One man’s junk was another’s treasure? More like one human’s forgottens is a meowstic’s goldmine.

Time to see what she could find for her collection…

Pokestage- AIM PD- Libby meets Cephas

Walking alone in the woods wasn't Libby's first choice of hobby. Normally the meowstic would be curled up in her window with a book at this time of day. Instead though she found herself walking along a path that lead to an older part of the forest with a small cemetery. It was cloudy out and the air smelled of rain, but she didn't mind. Today after all was a day to go out and to collect more odd trinkets for her hobby.

CiCi had mentioned some strange place near the forest's edge by the city and so Libby just had to go see it. Maybe I can find something to interest CiCi as well. Now that would be nice, "Meow~" Purring at the thought the meowstic gracefully slipped in between the broken fence links to walk closer.

Oh look there's even one of those big places... What was it called? A mausoleum? It wasn't too big, but it did stand out amongst the old grave sites with creeping ivy and a broken angel out front. The door was open so that anyone could go inside as well. I wonder if they even used it? Her gaze gleamed in interest. It looked unsealed so perhaps the place had been forgotten and the body placed elsewhere?

Only one way to find out...

The cranidos was so excited. Halloween was coming up again! Candy and costumes and decorations and dry leaves! He remembered his first Halloween as clear as day! Cephas loved Halloween, and was on a walk to check out the decorations set up in people’s yards. Some were fun, some were scary, some were simple, and some were elaborate, but all were fun to see! Not paying attention to where he was actually walking, Cephas found himself at the edge of the city. Well, he didn't see any houses to look at, but it was a neat little path into the woods. Maybe he would find some decoration ideas!

By the time he felt the first raindrop hit his nose, Cephas had an armful of sticks and leaves. He looked up at the sky peeking through the trees, eyes widening slightly. He hadn't even noticed the change with all the trees overhead! Oh no! He had his wings on, and they'd get all wet! Dropping his collection, he hurried down the path for town, but ended up going the wrong way. Instead, he found himself at the old gate of a cemetery.

The rain was starting to fall more steadily... He really didn't have another option. Hurrying along the winding paths, the Cranidos made his way to the larger building. Did people live here?! The door was open... It was creepy, but he didn't want his wings to get all wet! Hurrying up the steps, he peered into the darkness. "Um.. hello? Can I come in?"

Trinket, trinket? Meowing softly to herself Libby continued through the gravestones. It only looked like old weeds and some flowers left here and there. Frowning the meowstic kicked lightly at a loose stone before noticing something. Tap, tap...tap. Fat drops of rain had started falling from the sky.

Not eager to get her ribbons wet the girl darted into the first place of cover...the mausoleum. It was dry enough inside and so she found herself crawling up to hide in a corner. It felt better this way, to be hidden in the shadows. Libby was almost ready to doze off when sudden noise caught her attention. Oh?

Someone was here...

Rather than replying the meowstic sat back to watch who was coming inside.

Cephas waited, and heard nothing but the soft echos of the rainfall on the roof. "Hello?" he called once more, just to be sure. It wasn't polite to enter a house without the owner's permission after all, but the door was open... "If anyone's home, I just want to wait until the rain passes..." Stepping into the building, he felt a shiver go up his back. He didn't feel the cold, but something about the place he was in gave him the shivers. He wished mama was there.... or that he was with mama. He stuck close to the door where the most light was, unable to see very far into the darkness. He didn't want to accidentally bump into or break anything.

Curled up in her perch Libby watched as the poke-boy entered the chamber. Halloween already? She smirked as she noticed his cute little wings. It was an adorable touch, she would give him that much. Though his innocent aura made her playful.

How often would she get the chance to play around in a place like this after all? Ever so quietly Libby walked along the top shelves in the shadows until she was hanging over the boy. Ever so softly she whistled eerily before settling back into the shadows again.

Leaning against the doorframe, Cephas watched the rain fall steadily getting heavier. He’d found this place just in time! He sighed with the hope that the rain wouldn’t last for too long. This place was creepy.

And it was only getting creepier.

The rain on the roof and outside drowned out most of the smaller noises, but his head lifted to attention as a soft, eerie whistle sounded. Looking back into the darkness, he hugged a little tighter to the doorframe. “Hello?” he called softly, peering around. Maybe it was just the wind..? Yeah. That had to be it.

Libby had to hide her snicker. While the rains were getting even heavier outside the rolling thunder was still moving in. Oh it's going to be a nice storm indeed. She could only imagine how the ghosts back at her home would be all riled up for it. Storms definitely were a delight~

Looking back to her angel boy Libby smiled. What was in here that she could play with now? Slowly, but surely the spooks strike. Was that a stick? It looked like they weren't the only two to have come inside of here. Reaching over she grabbed at the stick and ever so daintily stretched out the limb to gently brush against the boy's back before slipping back into the shadow.

Hugging his arms to himself, Cephas looked out at the rain again. He usually didn’t mind storms, but, he was also usually at home when they came through. Here, the wind and rain echoed through the stone building, and there were long shadows, and... Cephas forced himself to take a deep breath. It would be fine. It was only-

“Wah!!” He yelped and spun around, an arm twisting around to slap at his back. Something had touched him!! But, as his crimson eyes looked around... nothing was there. His brow knit nervously. Okay... It would be okay...

Libby couldn't help it. His reaction really was just too adorable. A little angel spinning around in a tomb... Shaking her head at the silent laugher the meowstic found her paws slipping from her high perch. And even though she fell, she did fall with a little grace and landed on her paws.

"Boo~" Smiling wide Libby waved towards him, "You okay there, meow?"

’It’sokayit’sokayit’sokayit’sokaAHHHHH!!!’ Even though the meowstic’s landing was gentle, it still gave him a fright. He spun around again toward the playful voice, and he put his hand over his chest. “Boo?! You coulda said something sooner!” he gasped out.

Still... It was just a pokemon, and looked adorable! A little trickster of some sort. Cephas laughed softly and patted his chest. “Yeah.. Yeah, I’m okay. Are you in here to get out of the rain, too?”

Libby just chuckled, "What would have been the fun in that, meow?" The meowstic sat down on a little ledge and crossed her legs casually. While it had been fun to tease the angel boy, there was only so much she could take the same joke. Her cheshire grin only lit up the room more as lightning flashed over the horizon.

"But since we'll be in here for a bit I decided I would behave." Purring she nodded at his question, "I like the rain, but I didn't feel like a bath today." She shrugged lightly, "So I suppose we can watch this storm together. Better than being alone right, meow?"

Fun? “It wasn’t fun at the time,” he murmured before his smile took over again. “I guess I looked silly~ And it’s okay now.” His heavy tail swayed happily. Despite the fright, he was feeling better now that he had someone here with him. “I like the rain, too. ..I just don’t like getting my clothes wet when a hot bath isn’t right there waiting for me. My mama always makes a hot bath for me if I get wet and cold.” The offer to watch the rain together made him smile. “Sure! We can watch it together.”

"To each their own." Replied Libby ever so sweetly as she settled down in her new spot, "More adorable though, meow." At his comment the meowstic just shook her head, "That's a shame. I suppose the warm bath is nice though."

Nodding at his approval the meowstic curled up to watch the rainstorm. Even though she tended to be a loner this wasn't so bad. As the afternoon passed and the two stayed to watch the rain Libby smiled. Really it wasn't so bad at all.

Star~

Another stormy night woke Libby. Stretching the meowstic moved from her spot on the bed and onto the floor. Thankfully the carpet here was plush and could cover up the noise of her paws as she moved across the floor. Not that Libby ever made noise, but it was a nice insurance against any possible slip ups. The last thing she wanted to do was bother CiCi who was content and cuddled up with a pillow while finally deep asleep. If only storms did that for me.

Instead the meowstic felt as if every inch of her fur was on edge. There was just so much static in the air tonight and for some reason tonight sent tingling chills through her body especially. She thought that surely some of the spooks would be feeling it as well, but even the hallways were empty tonight. No chains rattled, no bones creaked, no ghouls wailed…what was this?

“Meow?” Tilting her head the pokemon stared outside of one of the large bay windows, “Stic?” Really, what was causing so much energy tonight? She really really wanted to know! Maybe it would be something interesting enough to get CiCi’s attention? The meowstic frowned at the thought. Honestly…

Just thinking about CiCi made the pokemon pause. Leaning against the window Libby rubbed her paws on the glass. It was so cold. CiCi used to love the rain. Now her human just sighed instead and stayed curled up inside while fussing over things like bills and work. Before the two of them would go running through storms together and play in the back gardens while the rain danced down around them. Now those had been fun times.

“Meow.” Her tails drooped towards the ground in sorrow. She missed that CiCi, but without big idiot here the girl was withdrawn. Libby was the only one to see the full impact of the loss on the girl. While others had seen CiCi mature to take on the burden of her family, Libby had seen the girl who had curled up into a quietly weeping ball at night. Anyone else the meowstic would have teased and perhaps even laughed at, but with CiCi it made her spirit heavy.

If only I could do something for her.

At the thought a brilliant flash came through the skies. Lightning? A shooting star? Libby frowned before the sound of shattering glass got her attention. Surely not right? Jumping up the meowstic raced down the hallway towards one of the older towers of their home. Had something really come through the window just now? Oh, boy.

Somehow a perfect hole had been cut through the glass of a window and in the oldest part of the upstairs hallway a shimmering light appeared. It wasn’t the light of a ghost or anything like Libby had seen before….so what was it exactly? “Meowstic?” She questioned it as she slowly came closer. It definitely was glowing with a weird light. She had read that sometimes meteors would still shine after landing…

Normally Liddy would be careful of such glowing things, but for some reason she couldn’t help but to come closer. What sort of magic was this? No, no, no…this is probably dangerous. But what if it could help her? Or CiCi…maybe it could help her human.

Eyes closed the meowstic reached out to touch the glowing stone and that was the last thing she remembered before the world went dark.
