Jack listened as Crimson spoke, intrigued by her story. What were you going to college for? he asked. And if you don't mind me asking, how did you become a slave? He wanted to know more about her, and he was willing to answer any questions she might have for him, as well. If there's anything you want to know about me, don't be afraid to ask, he told her.
"I was finishing a two year basic degree but I was going to go into computer programming. I found it to be really interesting."She told him. Her face then saddened."I had to come home to find the place being robbed. My room mate was there. I used my powers to save her. She then sold me out to slavers as thanks. I of course ran. I kept steps ahead of them. I stayed at a person's house for the night and well drugged me. So you can say I was betray twice really. The rest you can guess what happened."

Jack listened as Crimson spoke. He didn't like the fact that her roommate had done what she did. It wasn't right. Your roommate shouldn't have done that to you, he said, his mental voice tinged with sadness. And I can promise you, nothing like that will happen while you're with me. He fell silent for a few moments, then spoke again. Is there anything you'd like to know about me? he asked.
"People are greedy I guess and you don't know who you really can trust. It probably the reason my mother had made me promise not to tell anyone what I am." Crimson said softly. She listened to his promise. "Well what do you like to do Jack?"She asked him curiously. She waited for an answer. "Also why did you pick me out of the slaves there?"

Jack nodded once as he listened to Crimson's words. Unfortunately, this is all too true, he said. I know what you mean when you say you don't know who you can really trust. He fell silent for a few moments, then spoke again when Crimson asked what he liked to do, and why he'd picked her out of the slaves in the shop. I like to cook, read and swim in the lake that's not far from the manor, he said. I also like to draw sometimes. As far as why I chose you, it's gotten very lonely living by myself. I was hoping that by going to the shop, I'd be able to find a companion for myself, someone who would be willing to keep me company. A few minutes later, the manor came into sight, and he landed gently on the ground, then laid down so that Crimson could dismount before shifting back to his human form. "Welcome home, Crimson," he said.
Crimson thought by the sound of what he said he had been betrayed as well by someone. "A companion huh. I would have thought I would be the worst choice for something like that honestly."She said softly. She got off his back after he landed. She looked at the manor and the big yard. Her hair softly glimmered in the sunlight. As she moved the charms on her collar clinked against each other."It's pretty here Jack."

Jack nodded when Crimson spoke. "Aye, a companion," he said. He shook his head at her second statement. "Anyone can be a companion, Crimson," he said quietly. "What really matters is how one chooses to do so. Aye, it is pretty. That's the main reason I love living here." He led the way inside, then turned to face her again. "Would you like a tour?" he asked.
"How one chooses to do so......."Crimson said softly. She thought about his words as he lead her inside of the place. She nodded."Yes I would love a tour Jack."She told him honestly. She tugged her her collars the slave shop had put on her. She was trying to remove them. "Why won't these things come off."She whispered softly to herself.

is there a spell on the collars?

Jack nodded as Crimson echoed his words softly, then agreed that she would love a tour. So he took her all around the inside of the manor, showing her each room in turn. "Other than the bedroom at the end of the hall on the first floor, you can choose any of the bedrooms as your own," he told her, when the tour was over. He'd noticed her trying to remove the collars the shop had placed on her, and he wondered if they didn't have some kind of spell on them to make it to where the wearer couldn't remove them.
Crimson followed him around the house. She did her best to memorize the layout of the place so she wouldn't get lost of anything. That would be rather embarrassing if she did really. She wondered what bedroom to choose. She was still trying to get the collars off. All she ended up doing is almost strangling herself several times. The collars had been put on her pretty tight. She couldn't understand why she couldn't remove them at all.

do you think Jack would be able to remove them? and if so, how should he go about doing so?

Jack watched as Crimson kept trying to remove her collars, nearly strangling herself several times in the process. He could sense a magical aura around the collars, and he knew there was some kind of spell on them. What for, he had no idea. "Crimson, there's a spell on your collars," he said. "They probably won't come off by any normal means, either."
Crimson kept trying to remove them till she heard Jack. She frowned."Oh I see. I guess that explains why they don't seem to be coming off. They are so tight."She hated the things. She wondered if there was even a way to get them off or that would have to be on her forever. The thought of that saddened her really. The shadows in the area reacted a bit to her sadness. They seemed to lean towards her.

I'll have him use magic to break the spell, then remove them

Jack nodded when Crimson spoke, then moved toward her slowly, not wanting her to get the wrong idea. "I'll try magic to break the spell," he said. Closing his eyes, he began humming softly, feeling a bit of electricity crackle in the air around him. A few moments later, the feeling of electricity was gone, and he opened his eyes and looked at Crimson's collars again. This time, he didn't sense any magical aura around them, and he knew the spell was broken. "Try to remove them now," he told Crimson.
Crimson saw him moving towards her slowly. She wasn't sure what to make of him moving towards her like that. She then heard what he said and relaxed a bit. She heard him humming. She guessed that was how he used her magic then. She waited patiently till he told her to try and remove the. She did so and was able to get them off. She smiled happily. There was a mark around her neck that was left there by the collars due to how tight them had been. The mark might be permanent."Thank you Jack."She told him. She was very happy.
