Quote: Your character turns the corner and is suddenly greeted by an apparition of character of your choice, from either this meta OR from before it in their lives that was important to them. That character begins to talk to them, as if they were that person (just rp it out yourself for that part, as this is what your character THINKS is that character). Your character is CONVINCED that this is this person, and they are alive. The apparition begins to accuse your character of things. They could be anywhere from "why are you making these choices" to "you did __ wrong". You feel paranoia and regret. If you are rping with multiple characters, for this part, you CANNOT see anything other than the apparition. The more they talk, the more the apparition's face, and body begins to rot, as if rapidly going through the stages of the infection. At the very end, you are left talking to an Infected version of the apparition, before it dissolves away. Their accusations never leave you When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter.

Maybe her first mistake had been to stay outside at all. While Rajni had helpfully given over a junkyard tip stating that it was beyond stupid to stay in the hospital for longer than twenty-four hours--and she really had to wonder how the junkyard knew of that sort of business anyway; were they in cahoots with the creepy people hosting the casino? with some other shadowy organization? there was no way they were their own shadowy organization anymore, that was for sure--ANYWAY, with that tip in mind, Fantasia made her way into the hospital anyway. She was not going to plan on staying for longer than an hour at max: just enough time to collect her thoughts, get herself a moment to maybe freaking breathe, and then head back out to try and find the Apartments again. Maybe she shouldn't have stopped to take this break at all, but ******** it; part of her was doubting any of them would ever be successful at this rate.
Daddy seemed to agree.
She saw him out of the corner of her eye and closed them tight, muttering to herself what little prayers she knew from movies who had invoked them. Not real. Remember what Rajni said. Her fault her was left behind at all. That didn't make sense. Christ, he had been at work, what could she have done. Her fault. She should have gone straight there, didn't she have a bike, didn't she have a phone, had reception really gotten so bad that she couldn't have at least tried?

Was that Daddy or was that her? It was hard to tell anymore. But he was still there, bleeding out, greying, beginning to have bright bright awful awful awful green eyes instead of the brown ones she knew and loved. His face was peeling away--she didn't directly watch, but she could hear every single solitary gruesome second of it. It sounded so squishy, so...non-violent. Like he was unwrapping a present instead of removing his face.
"S-Stop," she pleaded brokenly, beginning to shake and shiver as the terror and paranoia and doubt all came to a head all at once. It could not have been her fault--could it--but wait if--no but--your fault your fault your fault--"STOP!"
The word rang out but barely seemed to have any effect. Sure, the whispers seemed to pause, but what did she have instead? The vision of her dad as now one of the infected, blankly looking at her. With a sob, Fantasia managed to remember how to work her legs again and got herself the hell out of the hospital. The image disappeared as she did so, but it lingered in her thoughts over and over.
