Hitsu didn't expect to hear something meowing outside of the hospital. She'd been wandering silently outside, careful, trying to determine if she wanted to risk going inside. The vibes she got from the building were... Just as unpleasant as everything else that had happened in the fog, really.
Confused, she looked toward the direction of the sound and called to it in a coaxing, lilting voice. "Kitty, kitty?"
And just like that, a tuxedo cat trotted enthusiastically up to her from where it had apparently been wandering in the mist. Despite herself, Hitsu felt herself smiling at the small animal and she knelt down to it. It nuzzled against her hand and she stroked down the length of its back. It was already purring loudly. "Are you lost too, little one?"
She stood again after a little bit of petting and the animal wrapped and wove around her legs. She took a few steps away from it and it followed without hesitation. It was a pleasant thing to find in this place, she thought, and she looked back every now and again to watch it follow her as she walked.
OOC: SCENARIO 10
Scenario requirements: As you walk around (if you are in a group there is only ONE), a small pet begins to follow you. It is up to you what appearance they take. It loyally chases after you no matter where you go. It is obedient to your commands and seems rather intelligent.
As you play around with this pet, you begin to notice it has a couple of strange defects. Eyes growing on its back. An extra pair teeth from its chest. Legs protruding from its cut open belly. The defects get worse and worse, and the pet slowly grows more hostile. Eventually, you have to put it out of its misery. (5 HP to defeat it, it does -1 auto damage). If you decide to SPARE IT it will hurt you instead (or one person in your group) for HALF YOUR HEALTH before it disappears.

She didn't think she had walked long, but she noticed that the sounds from the cat seemed off. Checking to be sure she was in an area that wouldn't leave her cornered in case of danger, Hitsu lowered herself to sit on the ground and welcomed the cat onto her lap.
With the closer look, she felt unease in her stomach at the sight of a wound - no - a mouth? Her eyes widened as she realized that there were teeth rather than exposed bone over the feline's chest. That was where the strange sound was coming from... And it was only the beginning.
The deformities, especially as they worsened, looked nothing but painful to Hitsu's eyes. Worse, the cat was becoming aggressive, hissing and growling and she was unsure if it was because it was actually hostile or if it was just in pain.
As much as she hated it, she knew what she had to do, and completed the unfortunate task as swiftly as she could. Mercifully, she didn't have to try more than once.
