Scenario requirements: A phone begins to ring as you wander the inside of the hospital. At first you do not want to pick it up, but the noise persists. You wander multiple rooms, and there are multiple phones. Each one you pick is a voice from a person you recognize, begging you for help. Whenever you ask where they are, they hang up. The ringing continues, over and over. If you are RPing this with multiple people, all of you hear the ringing, coming from various phones. It is up to you when your character comes to the realization that the ringing is all in their heads, (or if they need other chars to help them realize so!)

It had taken a lot of failed attempts and even more will power to even step foot into the large hospital. He hated them. Hated the smell, the environment--just everything. Hospitals were already a very big no on his list of places to visit. Every time he entered a hospital, he always got that sinking feeling that he wasn't going to come back out. Not to mention the doctors always liked to poke and prod, even the obvious injuries. He had always felt as though he wouldn't come back out if entered one, that he would never get out and he would die there. Well now, given their current situation, with both the people from the casino after them and the undying, that was entirely possible. The very idea made him feel ill.

Damn it, where was everyone else? He didn't want to be here alone. But no one else was here were they? He swallowed hard, trying to put on a brave front, wandering further into the building. There was no sign of anyone, aside from the occasional crackle on his radio with static and voices being cut out. To put it simply, it was terrifying.

It was dead silent now. Not even the radio had made much noise as he carefully picked his way through the empty hallways. He was beginning to think he was going to be crushed by the overwhelming silence when he heard it. The faint ring of a phone. Immediately he began searching the rooms, one by one, trying to seek out the source of the noise, and picking up the first phone he found.

"H-hello? Is anyone there?" There was no mistaking that voice. He had heard it almost daily for a month--longer even. That was Cecil's voice!

"Ce?"

"Rook! Hey, listen, I need help! Please! I'm--" He phone call fizzled out and the call ended.

"Cecil are you--?" Nothing but dial tone now. He made a face that was a mixture of horror and confusion. What had he just heard? Quickly he made an attempt to re-dial the number--anything to get Cecil back on the line, when he heard another phone ringing down the hall. Could it be? If it was Cecil again, then maybe he--

Rook immediately ran to the next room, searching for the other phone. It had to be somewhere! If Cecil was in trouble he had to know! He had to know and he had to find him and--

No. No! Its just in his head! There was no ringing and it wasn't Cecil. It wasn't but... what if it was? What if he was stuck somewhere, or hurt, or captured or--

Rook pressed the palm of his hand against his head, pressing hard, in a sad attempt to will away the sounds.
