Honestly, when Monica had been told she'd been cleared for harder security work, she had expected something a little more glamorous than repairing walls. Still, she supposed she didn't mind doing it - it was just, you know. There was so much other good she could be doing!
Still. This was important work, she supposed. It was just...maybe it was better suited to someone, I don't know, taller than five feet?
Stop complaining, Monica, she told herself. All you've gotta do is get this over with!
She jogged around the perimeter, keeping her eye out for anything that looked off. She guessed this had to be the other part of knocking things off the electric fences, though: after all, they didn't have that much power.

Wait. Was that...a hole?
Sure, it was barely big enough for a tiny mouse to crawl through, but a vine could certainly sneak its way in through there. And the vines were the dangerous part of the city...right? Anyway. Even a really stupid undying - and they all seemed pretty stupid - could smash its way through here eventually, once it somehow figured out there was a weak point here.
So she just needed to plug it up.
Monica reached for the wooden boards she'd been given and - well, it was a good thing it was a small hole, was all she was saying. She pushed the board against the wall and began hammering the board in. Now time to gum up the little dents in the wood, just to be completely sure. Seeing a hole in the fences like this was scary, and she didn't want to take the chance that an undying could get into the prison. It wasn't worth it. That looked good, right? Monica had done fairly well. She brushed her hands over the board again when she was certain she was done. There were no more little crannies for thorns to creep in on. Good - now all she had to do was hope that this part of the wall stayed this way.
