Rob had said she could come over whenever she wanted - an open invitation he'd called it. So Aitana didn't think much about it as she strolled down the sidewalk that led towards his house. It'd only been a couple of days since the two had spent the day insulating the basement, and needless to say Aitana was still sort of flying high.

She hadn't needed their tryst to make her want to bother him frequently, she'd felt that way ever since their first sparring match as Juno and Puck. But it didn't hurt either. Regardless they were buds, and Aitana knew noone else she wanted to waste time with more.

So when work ended early for the day she popped by the apartment long enough to clean up and change doing a simple tank top and cut off shorts, stopped by a convienence store to pick up a six pack of beer (as if Rob needed more liquor in his fridge) and some sandwiches, and then headed to his house. And for the first time ever she didn't bother sending him a warning text. It'd be a fun surprise. Or teach him a lesson about offering 'open invitations'.

Arriving at the door, she rapped against it with one hand, before leaning against the door frame with a smirk, bag full of goodies slung over her shoulder. The Brazilian was trying to prepare some quip for when he answered.

The day never started for Sidney James till well after Noon, and even then, with work not getting into the swing till after the sun went down, there was rarely a reason to be too put together in the afternoon and evenings. Which was why, when she answered the door, she was dressed in little more than a long, black printed t-shirt and knee-high socks in neon colors, her rainbow hair fluffy and wild about her face.

The short woman's mind blanked as the first view to greet her was a gorgeous rack, right at eye level. Magenta eyes swept downwards slowly as dark eyebrows rose, and then up again, lingering only a moment on that chest again before rising to find a feminine face with lovely green eyes.

Boy, oh boy...

"Ah... Hiya! You definitely aren't the Pizza man." Sid said as she leaned against the door, hips cocked and her voice rough in that 'earl morning, just woke up' way. She grinned as she did it, studded lips curling warmly. "Not that I'm complaining. What can I do for you, Cutie?"

Thin fingers rose to run through her riot of hair, shoving it back from her face and sending the neckline of her over-large shirt sliding down one bare, boney shoulder. Whatever divinity was out there had definitely decided to smile on her today, to send such a hot body to her door. The day had barely started!

Ignorant to many of the fun innuendo laced puns she could have made Aitana still hadn't thought of anything particularly fun to greet Rob with, but it hardly mattered as the door opened to nothingness (other than the view of a familiar room). The look of confusion on her face barely faded at all when her gaze continued downward and settled on a mane of rainbow.

Was she at the wrong house? The thought lasted only a couple seconds as she glanced to the familiar house and house number, before her eyes returned to the half dressed tiny woman. If it weren't for the confusion, her brows furrowed quite clearly with the emotion, she might have been appreciating the sight before her a little more readily.

Sidney's comment was enough to drag her out of her thoughts, though the joke went well over her head, and her hand left her shoulder to show off the plastic bag she had in tow. "I have no pizza. Only sandwiches and beer."

The question, however, was a welcome distraction suddenly seeming to clear her head, body straightening once more. "Oh, I came for Rob. Is around, or...?"

Maybe she was the one about to get a lesson about in dropping by unexpectedly.

Whimsical Blue
Sorry, she will be more fun once she's less confused. XD

For funness sake, and not immediate running off, I'm assuming Rob either isn't home or is busy working in the studio?

The look on the woman's face was adorable, her eyebrows drawn together to form a little line between them. And, Oh look... she didn't seem to get the joke very well, because she answered with the hottest hispanic sorta accent she had heard in a long time. Sid couldn't quite place where from, exactly, but maybe she'd find out sometime.

"Shame. I like pizza." Sidney hummed as she shifted, bracing a hand on her hip. Her eyebrows lifted at the mention of her flatmate and she brightened, her smile warming. "Ah! A friend of Rob's. I'm sorry, Sweetheart, but he's not here, or he wasn't when I got up. I don't know where the scoundrel is at right now, or when he'll be back, but..."

The short woman leaned back, dragging the door open as she dropped an arm and waved Aitana an invitation inside.

"You can come in and wait for him. I know I certainly wouldn't mind the company." She grinned warmly as she scuffed a heel against the floor. Finally she offered a hand out, her head tilted to the side. "I'm Sidney."

A soft frown touched her face when the other woman mentioned Rob not being around, silently chiding herself for not simply sending a message to check on her way over. However the frown did not last for very long given Sidney's cheeriness and invitation.

She still had the day off, and nothing at all to do with it. Whether or not Rob did eventually show up she would probably be more entertained with company then she would hanging out alone. Plus Aitana still had the pesky bag of food and beer that she'd prefer not drag around all day.

When a hand and name extended her eyes widened, suddenly and quite belatedly, making the connection. "Ahhh, Sid. You are roommate!"

"Aitana Ceu Matos." The offered hand was taken in a firm grip and given a few enthusiastic shakes before it was released. "I help to soundproof and fix up studio." She mentioned after the fact, pointing mildly downward, on the chance that Rob had not actually mentioned her at any point.

Finally stepping in through the door, the tall brazilian paused when she was beside Sidney, glancing at her once more, inspecting her more closely. Rob was kind of short compared to her, but Sidney... not only was she almost a foot shorter but what Aitana could see of her frame was so petite and tiny as well. Like a tiny fragile doll. Except the doll had rainbow hair and piercings which meant she probably wasn't as young as she looked. "How old are you?" She asked finally. "So tiny, I could bench press I think." Tact - it was not one of Aitana's stong suits.

The short woman laughed at the reaction she got, her eyes scrunching with her grin.

"Rob must have told you about me. And oh! Yeah, I remember him talking about the soundproofing he did and why he'd moved all my stuff around. I'm glad I got to meet the other person responsible for the mess." She grinned and winked as she closed the door behind her new guest. "Mmm... Aitana. That's a pretty name... I like it."

She turned back to find the taller woman looking her over and she paused, arms hanging at her sides and hips cocked a little bit. Sid wondered what thoughts were running through her head until she finally voiced them and the question that came out was something of a surprise. Maybe not entirely, this wasn't the first time she had had it directed at her, but it had been a while. It tickled her and she burst out in a laugh as she braced her hands on her hips.

"Twenty!" She laughed as she tilted her head to the side, magenta eyes bright. "And if you ever wanted to test that out, I'd be down for it."

She was still chuckling as she slid by and headed for the kitchen, stocking feet quiet on the floors of Rob's house.

"We should probably get that beer in the fridge, huh?" She said over her shoulder, reaching up to run her fingers through her hair in a belated attempt to set it to some measure of order. A futile effort. "How did you meet Rob? Are you two... you know... seeing each other?"

"Yeah we have talked about all sorts of things." Between multiple nights patrolling, a night drinking, and a full day of basement destruction and rebuilding they'd had tons of time to talk about lots of things. Which included his childhood overseas and his childhood friend. Aitana probably knew a small handful of random things about the other woman but what she actually looked like had never come up. Aitana found she quite liked the very colorful look of Sidney, though the seeming delicateness of her small frame was slightly intimidating to a girl who was often and inadvertantly way too rough.

There was a momentary look of surprise at the answer of 20, which meant she was close to the same age of both her and Rob, but it was Aitana's turn to laugh when Sidney joked in return to her bench pressing. She was always the type to take on a challenge.

The Brazilian didn't need much guidance through the familiar house but she followed nonetheless, holding the bag out in front of her once they had reached the kitchen. And a question sounded that stopped her in her tracks, her eyes widening just a bit. How had they met? Well.. that was when Puck had muscled his way into her fight with a Captain and her youma. Or more truly during the training session they'd had a couple days later in which they beat the s**t out of each other. Even Aitana was smart enough to know that neither of those were acceptable answers. She was saved however, after a moment's struggle, by a vague truth.

"We met during a street fight actually..." A hand lifted to rub the back of her head, giving a sheepish shrug of her shoulders. Surely if Sidney knew Rob she'd know that he had a perchance for bar fights and rowdiness. It was a savings grace really in this situations. "Rob likes strange things, no?"

She laughed a little before quickly moving on to the next question, happy to get as far as possible from any more questions about how they'd met. "I am not sure what is 'seeing' exactly." The Brazilian thought she had heard the word before in reference to Coralie and her boyfriend, so she took a stab.

"If it means to date, then no Rob and I do not date." Atleast she was pretty sure they didn't? Sure they texted each other a bunch and got together pretty frequently to do stuff. But they'd never called any of the weird things they'd done a date she didn't think. They were just buddies.

"If it means to sex though then that is yes." Her eyes looked off for a moment, above the head of the shorter woman, seeming remembering something, a certain basement studio, as the smirk on her face grew. "Much seeing."

The short woman laughed as she paced to the fridge, tugging it open to get a look inside.

"He does, sometimes, but hey. Everyone's got their thing, right? As long as you're passionate about something, you know? Its better than not caring about anything." She shoved the beer and take out containers to the side to make room. "And yeah, I meant date, sorry."

Sid came to take the beer and bag from Aitana. Her fingers stroked the back of her hand before snagging the handles and she lifted the weight away, smiling before she settled it on the counter next to the fridge. She dug the beer out and put it away, keeping one for her guest and snagging one of the existing ones for herself. Aitana hadn't said explicitly she was sharing, so it was polite not to assume. She offered the bottle out to the woman, returning after to lean against the counter.

Much seeing, huh? She mused, wondering how carefully she needed to tip toe around this subject. After all... she'd slept with Rob too. It would have been amusing, if she had been sure the much taller, much broader woman wouldn't haul off and punch her for creeping on her guy.

"Friends with benefits, then." She hummed as she wrapped her hand in her shirt and used it to twist the top off her beer, the tension outlining her hips. "Or ******** buddies, if you're less polite. That's cool, I dig it."

She offered another smile as she dropped the top on the counter, lifting the beer to her mouth.

"Are you only 'seeing' Rob, or are you two also 'seeing' other people?" She felt like her ears were stretching to catch the answer. It would be good to know what sort of a track she needed to take with this woman... and she really hoped it was the second answer. Rob was a lot of fun, but she didn't care for the drama of a slighted lover. And the way Aitana smiled... that knowing, sexy smile... she kinda hoped there was an opening there to get to know her a little better, because that smile did wonderful things for her.

Better than not caring about anything.

The words, innocent as they were, were oddly abrasive to Aitana as they sounded. Perhaps because they fit her. Or at least the her that she had been for the past couple of years. After losing Coralie and her grand dreams of being a volleyball star the Brazilian had spent over a year in a downward spiral of not caring about anything at all. It wasn't, in fact, until she had met Puck and Rob that she finally began to care about anything again. And even then one could argue that that the two things she did care about now, Rob and trying to have fun and enjoy her life, were flimsy when it came to life passions.

But it was an abrasion she passed over with a mere glance, not worth mulling over or worrying about. She doubted the other woman had meant anything by it and so Aitana simply watched Sidney as she shuffled around the kitchen, slightly amused by the strange feeling of deja vu but not. The motions of him and her shuffling through the fridge were similar enough but the appearances of the two were so starkly different it was almost comical. In another strange moment of deja vu Aitana found herself mildly admiring the tantalizing peek of skin beneath Sidney's long tshirt as she bent over. Though whether she preferred the sight of the girl's upper thighs to that of Rob's taunt stomach was uncertain.

When the beer was offered out to her she accepted it with a smile and an appreciative nod, simply pressing the palm of her hand tightly against the cap to pop if off.

"We never really spoke of arrangements or names of things." She hadn't really left much time for that, having basically assaulted Rob by surprise. And even after that they'd never really.. discussed what the hell their relationship was. Friends, sparring partners, lovers? "Friends with benefits sounds to be like it though. He is my best friend.." She admitted quietly before giving her bottle a mild swirl and then taking a drink from it.

"If you are hungry you can have other sandwich." She added as an afterthought, a mild wave of her free hand. "It will just go to waste anyway if he is not here to eat."

Shifting her weight to one leg for comfort, hips cocked mildly in the motion Aitana got comfortable, only to flinch a little in surprise when the strange question arose. Were her and Rob sleeping with other people as well? Why in the world would Sidney want to know that? Unless maybe she was just looking out for her roommate and friend?

"I uhh..." The beer bottle pressed against her lips again, using the cool liquid to try and quench the sudden dryness of her throat. And as the hand with the beer lowered her other one lifted, scratching her head thoughtfully. "I have no clue if Rob is seeing other people. We have never discussed." Well other then the fact that he didn't have a girlfriend and that he claimed he didn't take advantage of his band to pick up girls.

"And I... well." She shrugged. "I have been with another woman recently but... was more like one time thing really. She let me use her shower." Jarias had been very nice and fun too but Aitana wasn't actively out seeking hookups. Especially not when she had an even better hookup just a text away. And now that Sidney had asked she suddenly had a feeling of uncertainty and a great desire to find out if she wasn't supposed to be sleeping with anyone else? Would if upset Rob if he knew she had been with the other woman? Would it upset her if she knew he'd been with other girls?

Brushing the thoughts away for another time, she smiled a little, motioning towards Sidney's hair. "She also had rainbows in her hair. Yours are brighter color though."

Whimsical Blue
Oh dear lord I have no clue how/where this is going to go. But I can promise no punching. XD

Also ahahahaha - guess I get to confront feelz sooner rather than later.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 11, 2015 2:49 pm

Best friend... The admission eased Sid's smile to something sort of nostalgic as she sipped her beer, unaware that her earlier comment at struck a nerve. Rob was sort of her best friend to, when she really sat down and thought about it. She had a lot of friends, but they were all the kind of friends you went out partying with. They weren't the kind of friends you spent a rainy day watching movies with, or arguing over musical styles while puttering around the kitchen.

The sandwhich got a considering look when Aitana offered, but it didn't stir any desire in her. She should probably eat something, but she just didn't feel any hunger. Sid knew why, which was why she was going to force something down, but the sandwiches still held no appeal.

"I can put the sandwich in the fridge and Rob can eat it later. It would be good for him to eat something other than curry. I'd barely be able to eat half of it, so most of it would go to waste anyway. I've got some left over pizza, so I'll probably eat that later." Sid pushed away from the counter finally and dug through the bag, pulling out the second sandwich to put in the fridge. She smiled to herself as she swung the door shut, her beer dangling from her fingertips.

"I know its not really any of my business, but you should talk about it with him. Just a bit of advice from a girl who's done the open relationship thing." She said as she turned back, letting her hand fall away from the door. "As long as you talk to each other and know what you're each comfortable with, there shouldn't be a problem with sleeping or not sleeping around. Trust me, its just better to know where the boundaries are, so someone doesn't get hurt."

Especially since it seemed like they were both seeing other people too. The fact that she was one of those other people was something she planned to let Rob broach with this one. The way she acted, Sid suspected there was more there than just having sex for fun, when coupled with the best friend comment. She hadn't done anything wrong, herself, but this was something they needed to work out between them. It could end up that she and Rob would have to stop sleeping together, which would be something of a shame... Sid's mind wandered to a morning a while ago while her eyes dropped to the floor, memories surfacing of sun through the windows and her lips against bare skin...

She shook her mind out of that as Aitana mentioned her hair and a broad grin spread across her face, lighting up her eyes as she reached to run fingers through the rainbow strands.

"Its not often someone has hair as bright as mine, but that's okay. Its not for everyone, but it makes me happy, you know? And it gets me a lot of attention." Sid laughed as she fluffed her hair and then dropped her hand away, dropping it to drum her fingers on the counter for a moment.

"Hey." She said finally, straightening up. "You did all that work downstairs: have you gotten to see it in action yet? I've got all my stuff set up, if you like music and wanna hear a little something."

Rob, beneath his little punk exterior and pitbull like tenacity, was very sweet. With a tender loyalty and protectiveness towards his friends that was entirely admirable. So it was no surprise that he would have multiple people that felt connected enough to him to consider him a close, or even best, friend. It was entirely unsurprising that the two damaged girls would cling to such generosity.

The comment about curry drew an amused snort from Aitana, her eyes and mouth widening in a motion of slight surprise. "He brought me curry many times when he was helping me with my back, but I did not know is because he always eats." She laughed, shaking her head. He had said it was his favorite and it did taste good, but... Sidney was quite right. He should probably mix it up a little bit, and she nodded enthusiastically to the idea of leaving the sandwich for him to have later.

Of course the enthusiasm died pretty quickly when the kind, but awkward, advice sounded.

"I do not know if even is.. relationship. We are just friends." Two peas in a pod. Fist bumping, youma a** kicking, silly frolicking idiots. If it weren't for the sex it'd probably be best classified as an 'epic bromance'. The Brazilian frowned as she replied, before waving her hand and the idea away. "But yes, sure. Talk." Because talking, especially about feelings, was pretty much Aitana's least ******** favorite thing in the whole wide world. Sidney's advice was accepted, but regulated towards the bottom of her to do list.

Luckily, a distraction arose and Aitana's smile returned as the topic turned to hair. "Is very cute." She regarded as Sidney spoke about her hair and how she liked the color. Despite both Jarias and Sidney having rainbow hair they gave off different impressions. Thinking aloud the tall girl mused thoughtfully. "I see you and I think.. tiny firecracker." The piercings and the bit of personality she'd seen in the past few moments also probably helped in that conclusion.

"I have not seen, but I would like to." The invitation was accepted with gusto, Aitana already shifting on her feet to turn in the direction of the basement studio. "You play very different music from Rob yes? I do not know very much of music things, but I like to listen."

Whimsical Blue
PostPosted: Sun Oct 11, 2015 9:18 pm

Sid smiled at the awkwardness that resulted from her advice, but she let the subject drop, which seemed to be Aitana's preference. It really wasn't any of her business, what happened between her and Rob. She'd offered some advice and that was really all she could do, as a friend.

The small woman laughed as she headed for the hallway and the door down to the basement studio.

"I suppose you could call me a firecracker. I like to think I'm not as firey as all that though. I'm pretty laid back, usually, and I like to have fun." She said as she lead the way, tugging the door open and starting down the stairs. A flick of a switch and the stairway lit up, making it easy for stocking feet to find the way. "I just like to have fun. It kind of shows in my music. I listen to and make a lot of EDM; Electronic Dance Music. Stuff they play in clubs a lot, because its got an up tempo beat. Like... Techno, or Step. Rob's music is harsher and a lot simplier and tends to be full of anti-establishment stuff. Punk's all about rebellion. EDM is about dancing and having fun and living your life to the fullest."

Down in the studio, a table was set up against the wall and strewn with wires and electronic equipment. Most prominent was a full keyboard and beside that, a laptop with a variety of cords trailing from it. Fish swam in the screensaver as Sid grabbed the rolling chair she'd claimed for herself, pulling the large, fluffy blanket out of it to replace it with her backside and wrap the warm material around herself. It was noticeably cooler down here, which was typical for basements. It was the only thing she lamented about the studio, save for the missing sound booth for isolated recording. Poor circulation and low body fat made for a woman who chilled rather quickly.

Sid's fingers flew over the keys of her laptop as she woke it up and called up her playlists, scanning through it for something to introduce Aitana to.

"Here, like this." She said as she hit play and rocked back in her chair, tugging the blanket up to her neck.

Aitana listened with soft interest as Sidney spoke. First about who she was and then about her music. The explanation was actually very simple and easy to grasp even for the inexperienced Brazilian, and that she appreciated. She was mostly contented in listening, only offering a thoughtful interjection when Sidney mentioned EDM being about dancing and living life to the fullest. "Ahhh, is some like the music of home then. Especially during Carnivale, is all about dancing and living."

As they entered the basement Aitana's eyes took in the room with soft interest. It looked different with everything back inside and finished. Complete and whole. A soft smile of satisfaction crossed her lips as she stared past the stuff to her and Rob's handiwork behind it. When it came to work it was a rarity for ever to see the sites after they were actually complete and furnished. It was different and she liked it.

Finally glancing away from the room itself she made her way closer to the rainbow haired woman as she messed with her laptop and buried herself in her blanket, settling nearby with her arms crossed loosely across her chest. As the music began to play it didn't take long for her hips to begin a subtle sway and her arms to eventually uncross.

It was a world of different from everything she'd ever heard Rob play. But it was nice. The beat was impossible not to move to, and when Aitana closed her eyes she could see what Sidney had been speaking about, a soft smile touching her lips. It was sort of happy, in a relaxing way.

As the music played, Sid swung around to catch Aitana's reaction to the music, curious what the Lovely Latina thought of her kind of beat. Her eyes brightened to see the other woman shifting in place, swaying in time to the music. It was an entirely encouraging sign to see the beat affecting her, because that was exactly the effect the DJ always wanted to see. It told her there was a heart in there, a soul that could be moved. That's what music was about, what her music was about. Touching someone in a way nothing else could.

She watched for a bit as Aitana swung her hips, eyes drawn to and lingering on the motion as she ran her lower lip between her teeth. As the song wound to an end, she turned back and leaned forward to work the mouse, clicking through Youtube to find something the view had sparked an idea for. The woman had mentioned Carnivale... that must make her Brazilian. That gave Sid a hint of what might please her and it wasn't hard to find.

The short woman was grinning when she hit the play button and she pushed back from the table as the techno began to flow. She tossed pushed her blanket down as she drew a knee up, hooking her heel on her chair to give Aitana a coy grin.

"I thought you might like this... Little something of yours with a little something of mine. I didn't make this one though." Rocking forward, she bounced to her feet and stepped over to offer a hand to the taller woman, her smile widening. "You dance right? I saw your hips moving. You feel the music like I do, don't you? Wanna dance with me? I promise I'm not too bad."

The end of the song was met with the soft sounds of fingers clicking keys and Aitana's hips remained in motion for a few seconds into the silence before finally stilling, her eyes opening with intent to praise the other woman. However Sidney was much too fast for her. No sooner had her lips parted to speak did the music begin to pump from the speaker again, this time with a slightly familiar beat lingering beneath the added throb of techno mix. It illicited a few tones of soft and delighted laughter deep in the Brazilian's throat.

"Is fun to share." She mused in response, almost instinctively flirty, to the coy grin that had been offered to her.

The offer to dance was accepted more physically than verbally, taking the shorter woman's offered hand before drawing dangerously close, her hips taking on a far more pronounced sway and shift then they had moved during the first song.

"Do you know how to samba?" She asked curiously as she tried to find a place in between the beat and Sidney's own movements. "If not is okay, I have been to club once or twice." Dance was in her blood and heritage, and especially as a gymnast, she'd figure it out, you just moved in response to your partner's body.

It would be a lie to say she didn't hope Sidney answered positively though, the temptation to twirl and spin the tiny woman palpable. Latin dances, especially the male lead ones, offered a decent amount of manhandling. And Aitana was more than happy to lead as the music pumped through the studio and through the woman.
