Security: Security Maintenance That electric fence around our perimeter is important for keeping the monsters out, so it's within our interest to keep it up. Sometimes the zombies get stuck on it. We'll want to dispose of those. You must write a minimum of 300 words in this quest to be able to claim any reward.
Step One: Finding electrified zombies Before anything else, you need to find where the bodies are. Start scouting along the perimeter to see what you can find.
Roll 1d4. This determines the amount of corpses you find along the fence.
Step Two: Removing the corpse Next is the real tricky part. Getting the zombies off the fence without frying yourself in the process. Hope you have some rubber gloves!
Roll 1d20 for every zombie you have found. You can do this in one or multiple posts. Up to you.
1. Critical fail! BZZZAAP! You feel a painful jolt of electricity before flying back and away from the fence in shock. There's a hint of smoking flesh in the air and the body also remains stuck to the fence. Take 10 damage. You may roll again to remove the body, however you cannot earn bonus bars if you happen to roll a 20 on the reroll. 2-10. You manage to pry the body off, getting a little zapped in the process. Take 2 damage. 11-19. You manage to pry the body off without any issue. 20. Critical success! Wow, that zombie was really two bodies stuck together! Two for the price of one. +2 bars to your final tally
Rewards For every zombie you have successfully removed from the fence, you earn 2 bars.
In addition to the rewards already listed, if you are successfully remove at least half of your (round up) zombie bodies without hurting yourself, you also receive 25% Security Cred. Otherwise, you earn 10% Security Cred. Please keep track of your Cred in your journal! You will need it in order to complete Officer level quests!

Max was exhausted. He had spent several hours prior to his security shift fighting undying all by himself and it had taken its toll. In addition to being tired, he hurt absolutely everywhere, but he was determined to help out as usual, and that meant prying grabby creatures off of the fence. He had gotten rather used to the routine, but that didn't make it fun. Well, it wasn't getting finished any faster with him standing here. With a nod to Rob and Seth, Max took his stick and headed out.

Of course, today of all days there would be four of them. Max closed his eyes and tried not to sigh once he had counted the undying present, then shuffled over, bowing his back in a soundless stretch before he began.
The first undying was a wiggly creature, the snarls and groans it made sounding almost like words. It gave him ammunition for his argument that they had been people, though to be honest, most of the survivors seemed to believe they had originated from humans anyway. There was nothing to argue.
Once Mr. Wiggles had been liberated, Max freed two of the other undying without incident, pleased that things were finally looking up. And then came the last one.
This undying looked for all the world like he had been detained by the fence against his will. His arms and legs were wrapped around a post, spasmodically jerking tighter and tighter with every burst of electricity. His mouth gaped and closed more slowly somehow, as if he was crying 'help me help me help me' at regular intervals.
Max struggled to free it, shimmying his stick into the knot of its arms and pushing. The undying yelped as it fell, or maybe that was his own cry as he received yet another shock. Either way, his latest task was complete.
