Monica zipped out into the yard, giggling. Sure, this stuff was serious business - you had to keep the fence clear - but that didn't mean she wasn't allowed to have fun while she was checking up on the border.

She gave a loud whoop as she dashed up to the fence, squinting up at it. Corpses...corpses...

Man. Maybe she shouldn't actually think of it like that? It made her sound really callous, which was not an attitude she liked to cultivate. Monica Chavez was an overly invested person, not a callous one.

Actually, the fence was super empty today. Monica walked alongside it, furrowing her brow as she looked for...bodies?

No bodies to speak of. Ugh.

Wait, wait - there! Back on the side where she'd first started. Nice powers of observation there, Monica, she thought, hurrying back with her fishing rod in hand. But who cared? At least she'd noticed it.

She stomped over in a cloud of huffy fury, and jabbed her fishing rod very fiercely upward. It hit the corpse dead center, and Monica was left smirking in its wake. Well. That was that. Time to report a job well done, she supposed?

Well, there'd only been one body. It wasn't that great.
