Slots hadn't gotten her far, and she wasn't sure if playing blackjack would help or hinder her, but... it couldn't hurt to try, she supposed.
Dani placed her hands on the deck, and pulled out two cards.
Hopefully she still remembered how to play this.
A jack and... a 9. That was a 20, right? Which meant she was in range?
Dani heaved a sigh. She got lucky this first round.

With that first round going smoothly, she just needed... 30 more coins?
Who knew if she'd hold out, but if she didn't take a chance here, she'd never know.
A 10 and 4 this time. She could... draw another card, or... let it pass.
The odds were slightly higher if she decided to draw, but... what if she busted?
Sometimes chances needed to be taken, and Dani decided to risk it.

There was a VERY slim chance of busting, so it was illogical to pull out now.

Dani wasn't deterred. Though it was risky, she was doing much better with blackjack than slots. She just had to keep telling herself. 20 more coins. 20 more and then she was free...

No luck with this hand.
She folded.
