Security: Security Maintenance
That electric fence around our perimeter is important for keeping the monsters out, so it's within our interest to keep it up. Sometimes the zombies get stuck on it. We'll want to dispose of those. You must write a minimum of 300 words in this quest to be able to claim any reward.

Step One: Finding electrified zombies
Before anything else, you need to find where the bodies are. Start scouting along the perimeter to see what you can find.

Roll 1d4. This determines the amount of corpses you find along the fence.

Step Two: Removing the corpse
Next is the real tricky part. Getting the zombies off the fence without frying yourself in the process. Hope you have some rubber gloves!

Roll 1d20 for every zombie you have found. You can do this in one or multiple posts. Up to you.

1. Critical fail! BZZZAAP! You feel a painful jolt of electricity before flying back and away from the fence in shock. There's a hint of smoking flesh in the air and the body also remains stuck to the fence. Take 10 damage. You may roll again to remove the body, however you cannot earn bonus bars if you happen to roll a 20 on the reroll.
2-10. You manage to pry the body off, getting a little zapped in the process. Take 2 damage.
11-19. You manage to pry the body off without any issue.
20. Critical success! Wow, that zombie was really two bodies stuck together! Two for the price of one. +2 bars to your final tally

Rewards
For every zombie you have successfully removed from the fence, you earn 2 bars.

In addition to the rewards already listed, if you are successfully remove at least half of your (round up) zombie bodies without hurting yourself, you also receive 25% Security Cred. Otherwise, you earn 10% Security Cred. Please keep track of your Cred in your journal! You will need it in order to complete Officer level quests!

It had been a trying day. Several invasion attempts by defectors from other factions, a handful of unruly packs of undying doing the same, and a general feeling that something was off, that the safety they'd known was about to be put into jeopardy. They were all tiring, and though he had been out on zombie removal duty at least three times today, he could tell by the look in Stan's eyes that there would soon be a fourth.

"How many out there this time?"

"Three. Take the hedge clippers."

The hedge clippers were an interestingly effective way to get persistent undying off of the fence. You couldn't hold on if you didn't have fingers.

He chose to leave the clippers behind in the end. While it was true they were effective, they also left him incredibly vulnerable to stabs of electricity from their overzealous fence. The rubber that coated the clippers' handles was riddled with holes, and every clumsy cut had the potential to shock him as thoroughly as the trapped undying were accustomed to. As it was, he had to detach them with a stick, and all too often the stick slipped, leaving him to jam fingers and arms into the fence anyway.

"All right, big boy," he said to the first creature, a spiky thing with a hangdog expression, "I'm just gonna..."

Max jabbed his makeshift weapon in between the undying's chest and the fence, levering them slowly apart. Eventually the creature fell away, but not before Max had fumbled his way into another shock.

Muttering muffled curses, he tried again, liberating the next undying easily. "That's more like it."

The last creature on the fence looked... young. Max wasn't quite sure why he thought so, except that it had shorter, thinner limbs than its counterparts. He treated it the same as the rest, and if he had to wipe the back of his sleeve over his eyes as he headed back inside, at least there was no one out here to see it.
