Khaldera really couldn't say how long she'd been sleeping in the bottom of the oasis after dozing off the second time but she'd guess that it was likely nearly a full day. As she opened up her silver eyes the second time the sun was setting, telling her that she'd been down at the bottom for some time. The fact that she was still alone was a good sign, meant that nobody had come to this particular oasis during the time that she'd slept... that or they had just decided that she wasn't something they wanted to mess with. It was a nice feeling, that she could sleep in the water without being bothered. It meant that she could in fact dare to do so when she was feeling drowsy from travel or spent after a long battle.
After giving a great yawn she picked up her orbs, pushing up off the bottom of the pool, and broke the surface. Looking from side to side she took in the area around herself, making sure that everything seemed to be in order, before she pulled herself from the water. Her pair of Firani orbs were transferred to her tail, wrapping the fin around them, and then turned her attention toward the direction of the ocean. She was about to head in that direction a few steps when a strong breeze blew passed her, one that caused her to pause, looking from side to side, before giving a thoughtful rumble. The scent of more Firani was on the wind. Did that mean that she aught to go and take them on? Did she want another long, drawn out battle? Or could she get the jump on them?
Her tail set to lashing as she moved forward, deciding that she would gather her magical energy anew, and head toward where the scent was coming from. If she could get the jump on the Firani that she could smell she'd do so. If not then she would just head on her way toward the ocean. She'd come to the decision that she wanted to fetch one of her clan members, likely one of the little breeders, and put him in charge of her orbs. She knew full well that, due to their dedication and love, that he wouldn't steal them. The idea of a breeder stealing from one who was planning to become the leader of the clan was ludicrous after all. They were too loyal for such trickery she thought to herself before giving pause, spotting the two Firani there before her.
Alright, two of them, both of them oblivious for the moment, not even looking her way. This was the time to let loose a powerful spell and take them out before they even looked her way she thought to herself. Gathering more power she took aim, and then fired at the creatures before the pair of them could turn around. The powerful spell was able to wipe out one of the dragons, leaving behind its orb, and the other one was blasted hard enough that it was knocked over. Giving a toothy grin she went charging forward toward the staggered dragon, going straight for its vitals. A few good, well placed bites later and she had another pair of Firani orbs to add to the first two that she'd gathered.
"Alright, four of the glittering beauties! How wonderful!" She all but purred before heading onward toward her goal that was reaching the ocean. Given that it was already getting late she wanted to get there before it went completely dark so that she could find a hide her orbs before going hunting. Her long sleep and her use of so much magic had her stomach rumbling, meaning she'd need a big meal to sate that growing hunger.
