A last act, before he was taken. Two notes, two farewells, two sneakily delivered gifts slipped into pockets to two girls. It's dangerous to go alone. Take this. - Jeff lythiaren [ ??? Weighted Chain ] A unique item. If you tether it to an undying, it will temporarily obey your commands. ((OOC: You get to "summon" any existing undying mob from the zone mob thread. It will attack per turn equal to the auto-damage it usually does to YOU. When the battle ends, the undying is desummoned/disappears). meegane [ ??? Torch ]: A pretty interesting item. When used in an area, it causes no undying to want to chase it. ((OOC: When creating any zone prps, as long as you are using this, undying will not attack you in that thread.)) Quote: No need to reflect on this unless you'd like!

Megan hadn't noticed the extra weight in her pocket. In fact, she didn't even know there was a pocket on her dress at all until she noticed the faint clink of the item inside and the rustling of the accompanying note. It took her a moment to locate and remove it, after she found a quiet corner near the card tables. A note?
It's dangerous to go alone. Take this. -Jeff
The Zelda reference obviously wasn't lost on her, but the accompanying object left her confused. A chain? She looked around at her surroundings, eyeing the people around her before she sat down at a vacant table and hunched over it to examine her gift in peace. The links were fairly light, and covered all over with red markings. On one end, a weight. What was this all made of? It was weird for sure, no one had said anything about a weighted chain before on the radio or otherwise. Was this related to the anti-undying weapon they were talking about in the Harbinger base? Maybe she could find out. Where was Jeff?
She took another look around, hoping to spot him, or maybe Guy's He-Man getup or 888's distinctive helmet. She could see some other Rats sprinkled around, but they wouldn't know anything about this. There, 888! But he was off on the other end and walking away. She probably wouldn't be able to catch up to him. How else would she get a hold of someone who would know?
She reached for her radio almost automatically. "Hey Rats? Has anyone seen Jeff?" She got a couple of confused responses from other factions, but 888's familiar robotic(ish) voice mentioned he was playing cards. Another look around. Still no Jeff in sight. Really? Where was he? She pocketed the chain again before climbing up on the stool for a better vantage point. Was that him? No, just a guy in the crowd who looked like him. Maybe he was meeting up with Guy somewhere, their faction leaders were pretty good at disappearing despite their costumes. Maybe she could ask later.
She was lucky, she managed to scrounge for stuff to trade in to the Junkyard kids and buy her freedom. Others opted to try their luck with the games, but she'd checked out the rules and many of them looked heavily rigged or otherwise dangerous. So she went with a less dignified, but much more solid method. Unfortunately, it also meant she couldn't help anyone else. She could only hope the others had better casino luck than her.
((Because I am on my phone I will edit on my ooc when I have real internet.))
