After the whole falling in the hallway thing, Lorena decided to go into hiding and do something useful for once. It was a little late but still bright enough for her to go out and about not too far. Lorena picked up one of the small bags, put it over her head and secured it at her side. The sun was just going down when Lorena got outside; she checked the street once, then twice before proceeding across it. She didn’t want to waste any time out here, she was happy that she’d picked up a small bag instead of a larger one.

Scavenging in almost darkness was a lot harder than Lorena had figured. She relied a lot more on her hands than sight. It felt a lot like that one time she’d been blind which meant she was quite a bit better at it than usual. The first thing she found was an unopened bottle of water. She pocketed quickly and glanced out of the window of the building. She needed to work a lot faster. Some more searching revealed five aero bars and she pocketed those quickly too. Feeling like her bag was full, Lorena headed out and back towards the apartments.
