BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: Al is a rough looking individual, usually sporting a five o'clock. He's a big guy at about 6'3", strong, but sporting a bit of a belly these days. His right arm and the right side of his body is covered in tattoos like so. He sports dark hair and dark eyes, and normally dresses in very casual clothing. You know, when he's not toting that snazzy inmate outfit.

After meeting up with her boys and getting a price check on them both (bittersweetly admiring and cursing the fact that they both had to fetch such a damn high price collectively), Adelaide had hit the slots. In her period of skepticism, she had been sure the games would have been rigged to steal coins more often than they did spit them out; it had been a pleasant surprise to see that she had won a lot more than she would have ever figured in five go's. Still, stingy that they wouldn't just let them sit and play their lives away--or, in this case, for their lives.

But hey, at least they had that junkyard booth in the casino as well, right? Good ol' wild card faction always trailing at their heels. She could not help but wonder just why they were being so open to trade with them all, and what exactly they were doing with all of the wires and cash and keys they were hoarding...Did they know something the other factions didn't?

Well, duh. But the question was, what? Bah. Back to some games; less inner monologuing, more playing to win. Literally.

She was admiring her new cache and checking out tables when she spotted Tats. What drew her over, however, was the lack of the collar around his throat; she had been sure it had been there at the prison meeting not so long ago.

"Got yourself out already, huh?" Adelaide observed with a grin as she drew near. "Nice, Tats. Where's your girl at, she seen it yet?"

It was that older woman from before, with the sassy mouth. If he were in a better mood, he would have offered a smile, but he did at least nod in acknowledgement. Her question made his lips thin, tugging down in a frown. "No," He said sourly, irritated. "She's the one who got it off. Damn woman." Damn, wonderful woman. She was going to drive him batshit one way or another.

"Workin' on getting her sorry a** out next. Before ********' dinnertime." He curled his lip, looking like he wanted to spit. "What about you? You close?" Al gestured at her neck and the collar clamped there. "I say we shove them up these people's asses when it's all said and done. ******** ridiculous."

Wishful thinking, honestly. If they had fireworks and electricity... he could only imagine what sort of weaponry they'd have at their disposal. Guns, grenades.... Hell, were they even going to allow them to walk free, even after they'd 'bought' themselves again? Al wasn't so sure.

He could still see that boy's face, the terror in his eyes as he was dragged off by those ******** creeps. No, he wasn't so sure at all.

"It's a neat little organization they got goin' on here." Al continued after a moment, his lips twisting in a cynical grin. "Sucker people in with comforts we thought were all dead and then bam... dinner auctions. What I wanna know is why they even bothered to give us a chance to free ourselves."

Didn't seem like a smart deal on their part. Oh, sure, it looked as though they had plenty of losers to... pick from, but Al was a conman, himself. He didn't see what sort of benefit they were getting out of letting people earning their own freedom through these coins.

Adelaide turned grim the more she listened. Probably should have figured this dilemma was going to happen: hell, she had a minor one with her boys, though frankly seniority should have stopped the problem from ever coming up. An actual couple, couple, well...That was something else. Something Adelaide St. Pierre had never been quite able to pin down right, not even with two tries at marriage.

"'Bout thirty or so away," she replied with a pat of her pockets and a (very) muffled clink of coins underneath her layers. "Damn, Tats, that's something all right. Your lady's got a good heart." She hesitated before giving his shoulder a consoling pat. "Listen, Boss's a pretty resourceful guy. I bet if we can't rack the gold up, he can bail her out." Positivity, positivity. She normally was the voice of "tough s**t, move on", but in this situation she had a deep sympathy with her own family on the line.

"Betcha anything it's literally all a game." Adelaide scoffed. "Radio chatter make sit seem like it anyway: all scripts and advertisements and gambling and lucky numbers. Guess the deadliest game theory I had is starting to catch on after all."

...Right, positivity, positivity....

She held out her hand. "Adelaide, by the way," she introduced herself. "Ads, Addy, whatever."
