Judas had never been so happy to have two fully functioning hands before in his life. ...Well, actually that was a lie. He had been happy about it before hell broke loose and he busted up his arm. So now he was extra happy about it.
That thought however, was quickly chased from his mind once there was a startling BOOM noise.
The brunette panicked at first, terrified that maybe he had triggered something in his moment of severe derpdom over his hands and was about to end up in the middle of something very very bad.
Fireworks, he told himself, when he was able to stop panicking long enough to see straight. It was just... ******** fireworks... What the hell. Who the hell. Oh god he was ready for today to be over. Judas followed the source, and once he found it, he couldn't be sure if he was surprised or not. He scrambled through the doors.

Despite everything, the sights and sounds were familiar, and Judas found himself thankful for them for a whole five seconds. The next thing he knew an attendant came hustling up to him and thrust some coins into his hand with a smile.
This certainly wasn't beyond strange... Nope. No sire bob. Judas grumbled to himself, keeping a tight grip on the coins. He didn't like this at all. All he wanted to do at this point was find the guys and get moving. Speaking of which, he really hoped they were okay. Wherever the ******** they'd gotten off to. "So much for staying with them Judas. You couldn't even ******** handle THAT." The brunette grumbled as he looked around before spotting an empty game.
Black Jack. Twenty One. Whatever you called it, it was still a game of chance in the end.
He gave the dealer a small nod as he sat down, trying to ignore the creeping sensation that moved up and down his spine. "Hit me." The card flipped over. Fifteen. "I'm good." He wasn't about to risk another card so he collected his little 'prize'.
Judas knew this feeling, he realized numbly. A thick haze that made things feel heavy and slow. A laugh bubbled its way up his throat, but it died on his tongue. Noises crept into his senses, light next and Judas was just able to piece together that he wasn't alone. There were others. ...There were always others. Suddenly there was a voice. What was he saying? Coins... they needed the coins... for what buying something.. Buying himself, his brain supplied.
Well now... that made two familiar feelings. Again, a laugh came and died.
When the big man on campus asked if he had any questions, Judas shook his head. Why bother... Opening his trap could get him into further trouble. He didn't need more trouble... No. He needed out. He needed to find- Oh... What's his face was talking again. Blue-green eyes drifted lazy over the people that the guy spoke of. Judas nodded lazily at the guy, watching just as lazily as the girl was dragged off.
Screaming, more familiar sounds. Gun fire. An all too fresh reminder what that meant. Judas knew all of these well, even if he hadn't seen what took place in the room. He was distracted from the room when the boy who had been tied, scrambled to the door.
