The mint-colored demon freshling was new to the dorms, having just graduated to getting to be a big kid. One sweater covered arm clutched her plush toy, Babette, and the other covered her mouth as she thought. There certainly were quite a lot of other children playing, but what would be best to play with. Should she go over to the nightmares coloring? But what about the ones over there who were jumping rope, that looked like fun! There were too many choices, Pepper wasn't quite certain what to do.
As she looked around the room, she noticed another demon, this one pale with bright red hair, off by themselves. What were they doing that nobody else wanted to do. Curious, she hefted the cat plush more firmly against her and set off to reach the other demon's side. She dodged other nightmares running around playing tag and others who were just running in general. The shockingly red hair helped to lead her to the demon, but she still couldn't quite figure out what they were doing.

The nightmares were happily playing together with their games, and they all look so tempting. However, for Auren, he was happily sitting alone with his books. The little demon enjoys reading and looking at the bright, colorful pictures. Now he wasn't alone if that makes the other nightmares worry. He has his red kitty companion right by his side and it made him feel content as he flips the pages of his book. It wasn't a difficult book, but a picture pop up book about a little nightmare which was fun. Auren has a bright smile on his face and giggles when the images pop right up.
He was so lost in his little world, he didn't even notice that someone was looking at him at all . . . Random Nobody 13 I'M SO SORRY RANOOOOO!!!! Q x Q -clings tightly-

As she got within range, Pepper moved over to one side of him. They had been in mid flip as she looked at the table in front of him, and she was surprised to see the pictures pop up! "I like that!" she exclaimed without thinking, startling herself. Looking over the picture with interest, she moved closer to the other freshling. "What's it about?" she asked, gesturing to the book. There were sure to be other books like that. Maybe the other demon could help her to find a book with pictures that did the same thing! That would certainly be fun to do. And she could make a friend while she was doing it if she was lucky. Hopefully they wouldn't brush her off.
