By the time Calab got his game of skeeball finished the line for the zombie shooting game had slaked off, actually the game just freed up! Calab made his way over to the now free game of-
"Undying House The Third, Part Four, The Beginning of the End!" the game speakers blared out.
Calab winced, that was why you could hear this game from nearly everywhere in the arcade.
Quest #7: Target Practice:
Description: Gotta get that high score, right? Use those arcade guns for good!
Goals: Play three rounds of the zombie shooter game, Undying House The Third, Part Four, The Beginning of the End!

Floor One - Calab moved the first person point of view up slowly to the doors, lightning crashing in the virtual background. The doors opened with a loud 'crash' sound as they banged open, this play-through of the game didn't do subtle. He looked up at the objective for this time, it was ever changing. He needed to net a set number of kills. He moved forward, quickly taking out the first shambling zombie, not nearly as imposing as what he'd seen in the past month. The second one tore into him when a movement on the other side of the screen, lack of depth perception, made him turn to look at it. A little wiser to the games fake outs, he finished the last zombie on the main floor off, found the key to the basement and continued on.
Basement - The basement was crowded and darker than the floor above. It kept throwing scares at Calab- bats, rats, a large spider dropping down in-front of him, all trying to get him to look at them and miss the sudden zombie burst through a door or fake wall. He made it back to the stairs, two out of three zombies cleared. And with the item he needed to get to the next level.
Floor Two - The steps were a trap! Thankfully even with the characters foot stuck in a broken floorboard he'd managed to take out the zombie at the top of the steps lumbering towards him. After that he slowly made his way from closed door to closed door. His Hit Points were blinking red, he'd not seen a single health recovery item this entire play through. The next room yielded a small boost to his ammo. And a pair of zombies as he tried to exit the room! The character was moving slow, Calab took out one of the pair of zombies and heard the last seal on the attic ding open. He'd got the needed kills! Now just to get to the stairs-
'Game Over' flashed on the screen. Calab sighed as the animated cut scene showed the last zombie grab his (completely bland and unremarkable) character from behind and drag him back into the room he'd been leaving.
His score flashed on screen, and his zombie kill total 6/9.

Calab found it surprising that a line hadn't formed behind him yet for the game. Still not ready to wonder around the rest of the arcade Calab started up another game. This time he found the first person point of view starting in the basement of the house. The goal was to make it out the front door to clear the level. However he needed to first collect a few things. He glanced at the top of the screen, it read 0/10 for the kill count. So there were ten zombies between him and escape from level one, eh?
Calab's grip on the game 'gun' tightened and he moved the point of view forward, the oncoming zombie appeared right out of the gate and he found himself rushing down the dark hallways at a faster pace than the game before, turning to shoot as he could. The first item was holy water, the stairs were guarded by something you couldn't kill with bullets. He took down the first zombie, and then a second, before finding the item. On the way to the stairs he took out one more, but was soon being chased by two more, as he neared the steps up. He switched his inventory to use the Holy Water taking damage from a zombie as this slowed his movement. Calab's eyes darted to his health, still good! He was up the steps then, the screen loading the new area. Zombies taken out so far 3/10.
There! A health bundle. Calab got it and refilled the missing bars on his health meter, just as three zombies ambushed him. "Shi-" Calab cursed at the screen as he tried to back up in the first person point of view and take aim at one zombie. His unpatched eye darted from his target to his health and back as he pulled the trigger over and over, still retreating down the hall. One zombie gone, dang another one undamaged just replaced it! He needed to find the key to the front door, because it looked like there was no end to this. The amount of zombies now read 4/?? taken out. His health was dropping fast, he was at about half ammo. Calab took out another two zombies, and just as he'd feared they were quickly replaced. He turned his point of view, he needed a key. There! Calab leveled the game 'gun' at the zombie far in the distance, taking it out with a head shot he didn't think he could repeat again if asked. It was guarding a sparking spot on the carpet, that had to be the key!
'Game Over' flashed on the screen. The animated cut scene showed Calab's character 'dog-piled' by several zombies, more coming out of the woodwork.
His score flashed on screen, and his zombie kill total 7/??.
Now it was time to call it quits for the time being. Calab put the game 'gun' back headed deeper into the arcade.
