Her feet softly and carefully moved across the room. Falling off the top of a radio tower would be just
awful.Sunny maneuvered with her typical hug-the-left routine. She tried not to touch any buttons along the way, but inevitably something got switched every once in awhile and trying to fix it would only make things worse.
Another step, another
click. "Oops. Damn it, again!" Instead this time, she heard voice.
Quote:
"-- you don't know me but I'm here to help you. Don't listen to anything they tell you. They have it wrong. -- Listen closely. -- undying are not the problem. The thorns are. They cannot be destroyed. Avoid them -- contagious -- do not touch. -- spread. That's how the virus replicates. -- too late for you. They will not let you leave."
Habitually, she flinched. She expected to be the only one up here after all. It wasn't until the cut-outs and static signaled it was the radio. The person wanted to
help.
She listened closely until there was nothing but silence and the occasional gust of wind. Objective completed, she supposed.
Backtracking, Sunny carefully started to descend from the radio tower. She didn't find any loot so the bandits would probably be disappointed, but she did have some peculiar information.
