Eyes of Roraima

The Eyes of Roraima is a set of cities built atop a massive mountain with the rare oddity of having an entirely flat top. It raises into the air like a massive spire, but the entirety of the mountain ends in a plateau that is kilometers in size in all directions. The cities sit at the edge of the mountain top, where a large river flows through and over the side, plunging hundreds of feet down to the ground below. The twin cities were named for the view when above. Looking down on them, the spires in the center of each city resemble pupils and the cities built around them are like eyes. Mount Roraima sees rainfall almost every day of the year, and it is the reason that rivers can flow on top of the mountain without any sort of body of water that they spring from. The wildlife is plentiful due to the ample amount of rain, and as such, the people of Roraima rarely have to descend from their plateau for any reason. Even when supplies are in dire need, due to the fact that few A.I. Cores can reach the top of the mountain, it is a safe-zone, and B.A.I.T.R has made it one of their tele-zones, meaning that they can always send baiters to deliver supplies when needed.
There are steps that are carved into the mountainside to descend, and there are even caverns that tunnel into the mountain itself, and many strange things can be found within. Travelers have reported hearing screams and voices echoing from inside these places, though the sources are unbeknownst to most people. The flatlands on top of the mountain are often battered by brutal thunderstorms, and though the rain helps power the water turbines located in the midst of the waterfalls that the city is built on, when the water levels get too high, the river will spill over the banks and begin to flood the plateau. When this happens, though it is very rare, strange things may occur atop the mountain.
