Hitsu had been in Staples before, and while there might not have been a lot of food or drink to be found even before the virus she could easily acknowledge the place as a prime area to scavenge for useful materials despite their inability to be consumed (unless you had a death wish). She was considerably nervous about taking on the task alone, considering the whole mostly-deaf thing, but it was intended to be a swift sweep of the facility.

Checking out the front desk areas managed to turn up only several boxes of old receipts. Useless for anything other than burning, but fire was important too. She stacked a few near the door before continuing her search of the area.

She could have dealt without finding the stapler, or at least the arm attached to it. Good thing Cecil wasn't around, or she might have been dragging out more than a few boxes of receipts... Ugh. Hitsu had just a fleeting wonder if the person had been lucky enough to make it out of here with one less limb.

Locked doors were always curious. Surely it was an office, perhaps their cash room? Hitsu tried for a bit to jiggle the door handle, and to try wedging something thin in between the door and frame but it was a no go. She'd just have to report that back and let someone else address it. With a few good tools or some firepower someone could get inside.

The coins she found scattered around on the floor went into one of her pockets. While it wasn't a lot, she knew from word of mouth that those weird guys from the Junkyard actually had an interest in cash. So, she'd pick up any coins she found to turn in as well, just in case. No harm in it.

While not exactly proud of her meager findings, she was glad to have done something to help out. Returning to the Harbringers, she relayed her findings and handed over what few coins she'd pocketed.
