Lorena felt around the hallway, she was looking for objects, anything to help her with barricading the place. She still couldn’t see very well, but she’d gotten quite good at feeling up things. Which was probably something she shouldn’t’ share with others. In any case, Lorena continued to touch things as she went until finally her hands settled on something smooth and cool. Metal sheets, that was perfect!

Picking up a couple of the sheets, Lorena made her way slowly back to where she’d been assigned. Once there she dropped the sheets and asked someone to help guide her. Someone agreed and helped her guide the first sheet into place. It was a little tricky but they got it done.

The second sheet was a lot easier to put up, well as easy as it could get when she was pretty blind to the whole thing. Thankfully her partner was very kind and was more than happy to take the time to help her out. Plus, barricades were always a good thing for everyone.

There was only one sheet left and it was put up in place relatively quickly. With the task done, Lorena asked if she could go and was given the okay. Perhaps a bit more scavenging for the day was in order before she retired back to her room. She didn’t know if her blindness was permanent but she wanetd a bit more rest.
