Fantasia had decided to take a break from cleaning duties to take a shift down in security. Luckily she was paired up with a not so chatty officer for a partner; made this much easier.
The first person wanting entrance took an age to find their card again. Fantasia got a little suspicious.

Her suspicions were correct: faker didn't have the umbrella, and the officer with her wasn't going to wait another twenty minutes to find it. Out went the fellow into the evening.

Thankfully, the next person that came in half an hour later or so found their keycard without any fuss.

An umbrella was also found without incident. Fantasia scrutinized it before passing it to her partner, who commented that it looked a little bent. The stranger began to sweat a bit.

Maybe her partner intimidated them. Fantasia noted there was a stilted feeling to the would-be enteree, but other than a few minor mistakes, everything seemed in place. She checked him over for any injuries before letting him go without further delay.

And as for the third person, well...No keycard, no entry. Fantasia had learned that rule very quickly when she almost had lost her own.
"We'll be here if you find it again," her partner told them. She couldn't say a word, her jaw still hurt too much to try.
