Olga was coming off campus from DCU, after classes, and with no pressing homework due tomorrow, it was time to do more exploring! Destiny City was sprawling! She thought she'd easily still be finding new things here in four years, when she graduated. How exciting! Her wanderings today took her through some new districts, complete with some new and pretty parks with their changing leaves---and of course, new shops! There was one that caught her eye in particular though. One Mad Marxz Skate Shop. So. Cool. This was yet another kind of store she didn't have back home, and her curiosity was immediately piqued. Sporting a wide grin, and with her mind made up, Olga strolled up to the door and entered-- Only to immediately shop as all the glorious items of skateboards, skates, wheels, and other dazzling merchandise blinded her. "Wowzers!" Excitement +100.

Feliks had been jarred from his thoughts when the door to the shop opened. He'd been standing behind the counter doodling, and suddenly shut his notebook shoving it under the counter. "Hey~ Welcome to Mad Marxz!" He said brushing some of his hair from his face.
He had it pulled back so that the long strands wouldn't be in his way while he worked but he still left his bangs lose which were occasionally troublesome with him growing his hair out past his shoulders.
"Anything I can help you with? We've got all sorts of skate stuff, obviously!"

Olga stood straighter, more alert and snapped out of her stupor as she was addressed. "Hi!" She greeted back cheerfully, giving the guy behind the counter a fox eyed grin. She sort of wandered towards him, black eyes drawn back to the massive amounts of merchandise plastered all over the walls and throughout the shop. "Uh--nooooo?" She replied, utterly distracted. "I mean--I not looking for anything specific! I just came in here to look! I always wanted to see what a skate shop was like! It's so cool!" Managing to, briefly, tear her eyes away from the stuff, she looked at the guy. "How long have you worked here for, huh?"

"Ahh, I'm guessing you're not from around here then?" Feliks grinned as he asked the question, he must've shocked her. He nodded with a chuckle, "Just let me know if you need help then?"
He paused as he thought when she asked how long had he been there, "Uh.. Probably about . . . 4 years." He replied, as he seemed to think and looked at the calendar.

As alluring as all the merchandise was, the guy at the counter was increasingly garnering her attention, being the social being she was. She laughed. "Yeah! Was it that obvious?" Olga ended up wandering all the way over to him, and approached the counter. She rested her hands on her hips, and let out an appreciate whistle. "Wow! That's quite a long time!" That was the entire time she'd been in high school. "You must love it here--and I can see why--" She looked around again. "Definitely cool." She then grinned, and held out a hand to him. "My name's Olga!"

Feliks chuckled, "Well, a little; a lot of people that don't want to walk usually find one of the skate shops to buy a set of wheels if they don't wanna bike or car here."
There was a grin on his face as he stood there, "Yeah, it's pretty awesome. I get to keep up with the newest boards and the latest trends for the boards and skates. Trends keep my interest at least!"
He was rocking a pair of galaxy vans as he walked out, "Like the shoes, apparently Galaxy is the newest print trend. We've got boards in it, with clear wheels or glitter wheels if that suits your fancy. Skates are a little more difficult but there's some rockin' ones with different colored wheels."
"However, I digress." Feliks gave a slight awkward chuckle, "Oh, My name's Feliks, nice to meet you Olga."

"Yeah, that's fair!" Olga eyed the skateboards and roller blades with a new interest in light of legit transportation. She briefly wondered if a set of wheels like this would be useful in transporting anything for Isaiah...but considering the delicate nature of a lot of the stuff she'd be transporting...maybe not. Hrm. "WOAH!" Olga immediately knelt to closely inspect Feliks' shoes as he came around the counter, and she stared at them with keen interest. "Wowzers!" She breathed, and then was digging through her bag for her Polaroid camera, which she found, and then snapped a photo of his shoes. "Those are so stellar!" She snatched the undeveloped photo, waving it a bit before placing one of the corners in her mouth to hold. Olga then directed the camera up to Feliks' face, and snapped another photo...probably blinding the poor guy, and not because of her dazzling grin. "Nice to meet you, too!" She said around the photo she was holding with her lips and snatched the other photo. She waved it around so that it would develop faster. "How about you, huh? Do you skate? What kind of stuff do you own?"

He nodded, "It's sometimes easier than other modes of transportation because you can get around places sometimes you can't with a bicycle or car too. Though stairs can be a pain."
He paused when she took a picture of his kicks and then his face blinking owlishly for a second until his eyes cleared, "Wow, haven't seen a polaroid in a while." He mused it was very nostalgic.
He paused, "Oh me? Well... yeah I skate, I usually head off to the local skate park and practice. If I'm not doing that I'm helping my parents with my sisters. They're a handful."

"Yeah! I can imagine!" Still...having a pair of blades to cruise around the city on seemed really fun! If not for work, then just for herself. Olga grinned. "Oh yeah?" She tucked her camera back into her bag, and then took the photo out of her mouth. She waved both of them around now, pausing at some point to glance at both of the photos to check the progress of the development. "I wish they weren't so antique! Film is really expensive--but I love the instant quality, the feel, and the look, yanno?" She stood then, still waving the photos and looking at Feliks. "Yeah? Are you like Tony Hawk?" Her grin widened as her head tilted. "How old are your sisters?" Oh, to have siblings...she'd never know the feeling.

Victoria nodded, and chuckled, "I know, you could probably find repops on line that'd work with them. I don't know, I haven't looked but I bet one of my sisters could find it. After all she's all about recycling and saving money." He shrugged his shoulders.
His second youngest sibbling was odd at least to him but she was good at what she did. "Yeah, it's a shame they stopped making them as much."
There was a pause when she asked if he was like Tony Hawk and he started laughing, "Oh heavens no. I suck compared to him. Tony can do what I can't blind-folded. One day maybe!"
When she asked ages, "The twins are 17, Kata's 14 and Zoya's 10."

"Repops?" Olga echoed, her brows shooting up into her bangs. "I've...never heard of those!" She moved the photos to one hand, and then blindly groped around her bag until she found her notebook. She pulled it out, opened it, and tucked the photos into it before turning to a new page. She fished out a pen and then made notes about these repops. "Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to look them up!" She grinned, tapping the pen idly on the notebook. "Oh, pssssh. I bet you're like Tony Hawk to me! I've never really skated, but I'd like to! Just for fun, yeah?" Olga pumped a fist. "Yeah! One day! That's the spirit!" Olga's eyes popped wide. "Woah! You have four sisters? WOW!" She laughed. "Poor guy! One of my friends---she's Russian--she has nine brothers...and she's kind of in the middle!" She laughed again, shaking her head lightly. "I couldn't even imagine---her situation or yours."

"Yeah sometimes they make reproductions of older stuff. I don't know if they've made any for Kodak but I think I've heard of something about it because of copyright licenses lapsing. Kata would probably know more than I do." He mused, softly wondering if he should text her really fast.
He nodded softly as she thanked him, "No problem~"
He started laughing, "Yeah, are you interested in a pair of skates or a board? Marxz actually has a program for Christmas like Layaway. So people can't afford to buy it straight out have a way to pay for it and pick it up for Christmas. Really helps the parents out who kids wants something and they can't afford it. Same for high school and college kids."
He started laughing, "Yeah my parents thankfully stopped at five of us. Oh?" He seemed curious about her friend, "Yeah my grandparents were from Russia. They live with us as well, and well they prefer to speak in mostly Russian around the house. They're not completely out of the American language loop but it's still harder for them to grasp." Which was where his accent came in play. "Ah yeah I'm not sure about her's but I end up helping a lot with the younger ones."

Olga nodded her head, listening intently. "Ah! Great! Definitely going to look into it---" Because any way to get more film for cheap was definitely A+++. "Well---" She looked around again, her expression taking on a new and interested light as he mentioned a Layaway program. "Ooooooh---" She looked back at Feliks and grinned. "Look at you, being a good salesman--- getting me hooked." She definitely was interested in a pair of skates, but obviously couldn't drop anywhere from 80 to 100+ dollars right now...and that was just for the not high end ones! "So...if I wanted to do this layaway thing...would putting down five dollars qualify?" Olga grinned widely at him. "I knew that accent!" She snapped her fingers and pointed at him. "But I didn't want to assume--- I knew I liked you for a reason." She teased, apparently very much having a thing for Russians, if the past few years were of any indication. She nodded her head. "Wow! That's so cool though! You're bilingual then, yeah? I'm jealous---ah, oldest too, huh? My friend is kindaaaaaa in the middle and me...well I'm an only child!"

He nodded and smiled, "Glad I could help."
He paused as she seemed excited about the idea and figured, "Depends on what you're looking at mostly; but it should do good enough for a deposit. I'm sure we could figure out an affordable payment plan for you."
He blushed a little as she said she knew that accent and that she liked him for a reason. "Aha, yeahhhh um . . . " He stood slightly flabbergasted for a bit before shrugging and nodding, "Yeah, Eh being the oldest though isn't all that amazing. It comes with a lot of responsibility." He sighed, "Just like they say in Spider Man, 'With Power comes great responsibility'; only I'm not spider man and lack his amazing powers. Regrettably."
He paused, "An only child must be interesting, no one to share with, no one to have to take care of . . . . Not having to worry about who's getting in the bathroom first and being the last one with no hot water . . . " He sighed softly. Yeah there were some things he wished he could do without his sisters even though he loved them dearly.Lucyal Sorry for the delay sweetie, I lost my muse for a bit. I found it hiding over there...

"Great!" Olga pumped a fist, and looked around with a renewed interest at the merchandise. To think she'd come in and be getting herself a new pair of skates---eventually. She laughed. "That's what I hear---" From what Nadia said though, she seemed more like the princess...but maybe that's what happened when you were the only girl in ten children. "Well, based on that you're saying---yeah, it was!" She did have a bathroom all to herself growing up, and that was cool. She was still looking around as she spoke, and decided that she really had no idea what she was looking for, aside from the obvious. A pair of roller blades. "So, Feliks, I'm going to call upon your expertise now!" She grinned at him. "I just want a simple pair of reliable skates. Preferably nothing over a hundred...but nothing terribly cheap, yeah? No point in buying something that's gonna break soon---" She then looked at him, and waited. LP That's okay, bby! <333 Also we don't need to go into roller specs...you can totally be vague about him showing her skates fwjkefweklw <3
