- Scavenge the office building for supplies OOC: You will need to scavenge the local office building (STAPLES) for supplies. Any information you discover within the building can be used for later.
[ Step 1 ] Each player must roll 4d10 in their post. Match your dice to the rolls below. RP it out in ANY order.
1. Your character finds a stapler. It doesn't seem very useful. It is still attached to an arm, that has long begun it's final stages of decay. Attached to the bracelet of the arm is a name. "R O R...." the rest is missing.
2. Your character finds boxes and boxes of receipts. It doesn't look very informative.
3. Your character turns the corner and finds one of the undying! They must remain quiet for a bit to avoid being caught. If your character wishes to fight it instead for some reason, the undying has 50 HP and does -5 auto damage.
4. Your character finds a stray cat. It doesn't seem very friendly.
5. Your character notices a strange room. It seems to be locked.
6. Your character notices a foul smell coming from the copier room. You notice that the copier has stopped running, but there are pages and pages of images that surround it. Each one depicts someone being brutally stabbed. It is difficult to look at.
7. Your character notices some booze! Unfortunately it is empty
8. Your character manages to find some loose change. Not very handy.
9. Your character comes across a disgusting sight - a half-eaten body. The smell is repulsive and causes you to involuntarily gag. The half-eaten face's eyeballs are still looking at you, darting back and forth, moving.
10. You come across several rats all clustered together. You don't want to know why.
[ Step 2 ] After your character is done scavenging, simply report your findings to one of the bandits. Your work here is done.
Stores were always going to be the first stop in any kind of disaster Justin realized. Be it weather related or something more unexpected or hazardous, brick and mortar stores have no chance at an unruly, panic stricken mob. To see the nearby Staples in shambles was no surprise, it still had light, for the most part which was well received by him. the floor was a mess of cardboard and thumbtacks and blood covering the thumbtacks, people just didnt care as long as they got something out of it. The blonde bartender was coping with the swelling arm by putting it in a makeshift splint from wood and an old towel.
Still he trudged on, as the Harbingers wanted this place checked again. Why they didn't do it with their makeshift militia, he didn't know. Maybe it was a test of his raiding skills or how he fares as a scavenger. Checking out the registers since they were close to the broken entry door and the stash of receipt held there. It had the old method of making a credit card impression, but that meant nothing in this end of days. the other item he could find was a stapler in a death grip of a lost one. It didnt have any staples in it from what he could tell.
Not a living soul was here save for a feral cat hissing at him from the printer ink section. It had the temperament of one of the former employees. That and a nearby huddle of rats around something. something worthy of their interest, which meant he shouldn't find out.
It was going downhill really fast, and with no other lighted area to go through, he was not going to take any more chances.

The bandit guard post was a lot calmer now that the crowd had dispersed, and didnt feel the need to riddle him with a clipful, justin was happy of that. "The lighted areas had nothing of substantial value, just feral animals and corpses." Justin reported in. The bandit didn't look impressed, if the stink eye he was getting meant anything. "Live animals means fresh meat, you still did a adequate job, for a dumbass, now get out of here." it all but barked out before dismissing him by spitting onto the floor.
crude and rude, but Justin wouldn't be lying if he said he didn't want to be in their company longer than he had to. He buggered off with haste, before a grenade came flying in his direction.
