Ace carefully loaded up the paintball gun she had been given then eyed the field. This was one job that she knew would be both fun and, hopefully, profitable for her. She hadn't really had the chance to play paintball before day zero happened, though she had played laser tag, but she liked it even when she wasn't the best at hitting the targets. Of course not hitting the human targets was a good thing and the end goal so it helped from time to time not being the quickest on the draw. She moved into position, holding the paintball gun at the ready when it was about to start.

When the first target popped up she hesitated on firing. It was at a distance from her that one, she wasn't sure if she could hit it and two, whether it was meant to be hit. It was only when it was time for the next target that she realized that yes she was supposed to hit it. Sadly the second target also was one she was meant to hit but didn't as the third target popped up. This time she spotted right away it was a 'human' target and purposefully didn't shoot it.

The forth one to pop up was a 'human' as well and one again she didn't shoot, instead keeping an eye on the area for more of the targets. The fifth target popped up a little bit aways from her, also 'human' and she held her fire. She knew there was only one more target that was going to show up for her and held her finger at the ready on the trigger. When the sixth and last target popped up, and she recognized it as a zombie much quicker then the other times, Ace raised the paintball gun and shot it. She smiled that she managed to hit it, not a killing shot or anything, but hit it none the less. She then went and put the paintball gun and the the paint pellets away for the next person.
