Good old Zombieland rules~ After her paintball session, Adelaide decided it was high time she actually, well, worked out at least a little. Her age wasn't any excuse, especially after that poor performance back there. Time for some cardio.
But first, a little streeeetch. Adelaide fixed her braid and bunched it up into a messy bun atop her head before locating a spot at the gym to splay her limbs. She had to be a little careful; one wrong pull could cost her more than just some pain and inconvenience here. The Warden was a reasonable fellow, but she didn't like testing anyone with eye patches on. Especially when she couldn't unsee the Governor in him.
With a grunt, she got to the floor, spread her legs, and stretched to the best of her ability. Adelaide swore multiple somethings popped in her back like firecrackers.

Let's see...She considered her options and went for the jump rope. Something light and easy, at least for now; if she pushed too hard, she could end up injuring herself, and then she'd really be in a pickle.
With the body falling over the side like that, Adelaide was a bit frazzled. Had there really been a fight, or had someone jumped? a*****e could have considered where he did it, then, if it had been the latter...She let her grumpy mood fuel her speed. That's what she got for following her hunches; a pile of s**t and some rising paranoia levels. She almost wished she had slept in after all, but it was easiest to get to the showers if you woke up early and, well, if she was going to be grandma here...
(Nobody really called her that, but Adelaide needed a label to apply to herself. Niches and stereotypes were her bread and butter as a fanfiction writer.)
In the end, the older woman managed to get herself a decent workout. Maybe she could have done more, but she didn't want to push it. What if more idiots decided to screw them all over by dying?
