It had been a while, but finally...Neveah worked her way into the headquarters. A few times she'd come close to it, and once she ran through just to check the list of owners from the tome, but other than that...she had yet to venture in for real. Why did she do it this time? No idea. Perhaps it was because a thin purple wisp had come from the Drow's wand, and she thought now was the time to venture inside.
"Uhm..hello?" She questioned shortly after hearing the singing. It'd been a long time since she'd heard anyone sing anything other than ceremony songs or ritualistic chants...so this was nice!

The wisp could only wiggle lightly in response to Kishi's wave. After a moment or two the wisp seemed to shrink back from the female baby ghost, as if frightened.
Neveah's attention was first caught by the floating, baby-like wisp...but then, of course, her attention was drawn to her smaller wisp. Huh...it shrunk back from her? She brightened at this, naturally...the baby ghost must have been female, and if her wisp had shrunk backwards, that meant that the Drow was male! "Oh thank god!" She breathed outloud, pressing a hand to her heart. A male drow! She'd have nothing to worry about in the future, thank god. Shortly after her little outburst, she took notice of the male that was walking towards her.
"...Oh, Hi there! I'm not surprised, I haven't been around very often." The butterfly humanoid giggled, reaching out with her slender, long-fingered hands to grasp his. "My name is Neveah, and I'm assuming that baby-like ghost is Kishi, correct?" Kishi...thats a pretty name she thought. "My little wisp doesn't have a name yet, sadly enough..." Though now that she knew it was male, she should get right onto that.

The Drow wisp froze as the female drifted closer, wiggling in discomfort at the same time. Even if it could make some form of noise, there was no way it would...speaking back to a female was a punishable offense!
"You live here? I didn't know people could live here..." Neveah breathed out softly, somewhat in awe. This place was big enough to live in? Wow! "Nice to meet you by the way, Malen." The butterfly woman smiled, then retracted her hand to let it drop at her side, though her left hand still held the wand up. When questioned about the wand, her aqua eyes shifted towards it. "My little one is a Drow. I'm thinking its a Male Drow, so thats why it backed away from little Kishi.." She informed him, though her gaze was also on the succubus ghost...as if hoping the other little one would understand. "In Drow society, the females are dominate so the males are very, very careful around them because they usually get punished for no reason." Now her gaze turned back to Malen, a thin smile on her lips.
"Don't worry, a Male guardian to a Succubus is about as strange as a Butterfly Guardian to a Spider Worshipper." She giggled, shaking her head.

The purple wisp wiggled lightly, as if relieved. The female had gone, and it was left intact! This was a cause for celebration, but due to the fact the wisp couldn't do much, it just floated around the wand it once lived in.
"Oh I see...I understand, then!" The butterfly woman smiled softly. That explained it. And really...good for them! "Interestingly Dangerous." Neveah corrected with a thin giggle. Hopefully she'll be able to raise the little Drow to not be...well, to not be so Drow-like. This was exactly the reason why her book 'Parenting for Dummies' was practically her bible. She shuddered at the thought of what a female drow would have done to her. "Oh god, I wouldn't stand a chance against a female drow...thats like putting a caterpillar at the mercy of a bird. Again she shuddered, but this time, her gaze went towards the Succubus ghost.
"So...after this small wisp stage, it'll turn into that kind of ghost, right?" She spoke quietly to herself. "Aren't you worried at all for living with a Succubus...?" This time she spoke up, turning her aqua gaze back to Malen.

"Well, that is true too...there are the unfortunate ones, however." Neveah reminded him with a small chuckle, raising her slender index finger as if stating a fact. The woman's aqua eyes drifted towards the choker, her head tilting in an unusually canine fashion.
"Thats an enchanted choker, then? To keep a Succubus at bay?" Interesting! She doubted one of those could be made for a Drow however...when magic failed, brute strength was their ally...and after that, well...there was always poison darts. She did however flinch at the mention of being poked with the wand.
"Her wand has wings too...it looks pointy...I definately wouldn't want to get poked with that." She giggled softly, though she did feel very sorry for Malen by this point.

Naturally, Neveah listened with heightened interest...learning of new artifacts was one of her hobbies, after all! Already she was liking this being a guardian thing. "Well thats good...I'd be bad to have more than one male in the house, with a succubus around...but perhaps you get lonely, with no other males?" She questioned. Neveah prided herself on being more observant than people thought.
"Obsidian..." The butterfly breathed out, looking over at the girl ghost, then to the drow wand, running her fingers over its smooth black surface. "This one is obsidian as well...at least the black part is. The purple is a strange sort of gem, I know that." Again, she looked back to the girl ghost. Wings on the wand, wings on the child? The more she thought about it, the stranger it became to her. Because, well... "So...does that mean mine might look more like a spider?" Crap! Neveah forgot about the most repulsive of drow punishments...being turned into a dryder! The butterfly shuddered...there was NO WAY she could deal with a dryder. None, zilch! Heaven forbid the infant turns out to be a dryder...

"He may have spider markings but he should fully look like a Drow unless when you received his wand the book said anything different. Kishi's entry stated she was navajo but succubi aren't part of thier legends so she was crossbreed." Malen hoped his words would reassure the woman , besides he beilved them to be true. " Yes I miss having other guys around but eventually it will happen or it won't, the fates know best."

Luckily for everyone, Neveah took that seriously, and was thoroughly relieved. The worst thing ever was having to suffer through one of her bouts of hysteria. "Oh, thats good then! Spider markings I can handle." Dryder she couldn't handle. Drow...well...she dobted she could handle a Drow, but she was going to try her hardest, damnit!
"A crossbreed spirit? is that possible?" The butterfly questioned, her antennae perking in curiousity. She's heard of crossbreed living things, but not crossbreed spirits...but perhaps the spirit was a crossbreed in life, and then again in death? Why was all this so...so confusing?
"Well, when anoher male comes around for your entertainment, I sure hope he'll be protected from your future succubi!"

( gonk apoligies for the wait)
Malen nodded "kishi's is exactly who and what she was before she died just minus the memories. Since this is a rebirth and not a reincarnation she'd stay the same." he paused for a moment and smiled softly "Mmm but of course all males enterign the HQ who will be sleeping there will get some form of protection. unless they are dating Kay in which casei may let Kishi go after them simply to see if they are loyal" he said half joking pondering the moral problems with that.
