In mind and body she was an adult now... but according to pride custom she was very much a child. It hadn't necessarily been her fault that she had been cubnapped, or lost her mother prior to the event, but it had been that series of events that had led to this moment. The Kizingo'zaa didn't treat her unkindly, in fact they treated her very well and always had done since she had entered their care... but until she truly found her place in society she wasn't really an adult, not to them anyway.
Unfortunately for her, growing up she had never had any definitive ideas on what she wanted to be. There had been the civilian ranks, specialising in social and mercantile aspects of their society... and then there had been the more militant ranks. For the longest time nothing had interested her, and thus she had wandered to and fro in a way that very much appealed to her rather lowly rank.
Now though?
She had come to her senses and had concluded that she had to repay the pride for their love and careful upbringing. Despite the somewhat joking rank, one that seemed to hint that she was being a touch entitled, they had raised her as one of their own.
It was only fair she returned the favour.
...She just wasn't sure what her real calling was yet - a healer, a fortune teller, a merchant...?

Despite her dilemma she had to admit that it was a lovely morning; then again it always seemed to be lovely in the Kizingo'zaa. She hadn't ever seen a day go by where anyone ever went "urgh" and regarded the sky with a level of distaste. She should have counted her blessings in that respect, and to a degree she did... even if she happened to take it for granted like everyone else. Who knew, one of these days she might end up missing it should she choose a military life and have to explore beyond the borders.
Nevertheless, before she had sank to deep into her musings, she was afforded a friendly greeting. It was a creature she had never seen before - quite obviously a feline, but like none she had ever seen before. How curious; perhaps he was some form of lion from a far off place? All she knew was that he had a rather pleasant coat, a pale green and certainly much more subtle than that of some of the lions within her pride.
"Yes, yes it is," she agreed and tilted her head to the side. "Although it usually is here," she confessed. "I've never actually seen a bad day in all my years here, I guess something really, really likes us," she added with a delicate smile.
"Who might you be? You don't seem to be Bahari, your fur isn't curly enough," she motioned to him. "But you're certainly not from around here, I'd remember you other wise."
