"Alright, doc, just hit me. How are we gonna do this?"
"The old fashioned way, of course."
Really old fashioned, it seemed, as the psychiatrist held up a picture. What were those things called again? Rory something...

"What do you see, Ms. Adelaide?"
"Just Adelaide. Or Addy if you'd like, hot stuff~" she had to add, shimmying right up to the guy with a sultry look for shits and giggles.
The doctor made a face and nudged her back. "Let's keep this professional, shall we?"
"Aw. Let an old girl have her fun while she's still kicking."
"You're avoiding the question. Perhaps the image is too...suggestive to you?"
Adelaide snorted. "Nah. Looks like an x-ray of hip bones to me. There's the whatsit call, the sacrum? I don't remember, hell. Can I go now?"
"Not just yet. We still need to do the ethics portion." And she groaned and sat back down in her chair.

Here she had been expecting a long essay of questions dealing with the gray areas, but as it turned out, she only had to answer one today:
"Your past records have been washed away," the psychiatrist read off the page. Adelaide could see a lot more ink on it, so she guessed he was just picking one at random. "This is a brand new start for everyone here. How does this make you feel?"
"You're making it sound like we're around real criminals." The older woman barked a laugh. "This is minimum security, right? What's the worst thing we got here exactly? Fraud? Embezzlement? Petty theft? We could do a whole hell of a lot worse."
"You forget that we also had the psych ward," the man pointed out.
Adelaide shrugged. "Haven't seen anyone act up yet, so what do I care? Virus wiped enough of us out without pointing fingers about what we used to do. As long as we keep things civil, they could have kicked puppies before the fall for all I care."
The psychiatrist raised a brow in response and scribbled something down.
"Don't stick me as a sadist on there now," Adelaide said with a grin. "I'm just saying. Plus, hell, anything running around now's savage anyway; I'd like a puppy kicker on our side if the wild dogs come at us."
