GATHERING NECESSITIES A group of survivors this size needs a lot of food and supplies to... survive. There are any number of places you can scavenge for necessities around the apartment complex during daylight hours if you're by yourself, but to find supplies at night, you're going to need a group. No matter what time you head out, be careful, and remember your umbrella.

During the day, your character may search any apartments in the Clearview complex that have been abandoned, nearby bodegas and houses, cars, supermarkets, et cetera, by themselves. At night, they must search in a group, unless they are deliberately disobeying the apartment rules. If they are, they might very well get away with it. Or there might be consequences.
Step One - Grab a Bag
Zelda and October have amassed a decent supply of cloth bags, perfect for holding on to the things you find around the city when being quiet is a priority. Some of them are kind of small, but all of them are more convenient than making do with your arms.
To grab a bag, roll 1d4 and RP stopping by the main office to take one. If you want to skip this step, you will only be able to carry 1 item.
Your bag carries 2 items! Your bag carries 4 items! Your bag carries 2 items! Your bag carries 3 items!
Step Two - Fill That Bag
If you are completing this quest by yourself, you may roll multiple 10-sided dice in each of your posts until you have filled your current bag. If you are completing it with others, roll 1d10 per post.
Please note that you may not ICly keep these items! Whether your character gives them up because they're nice or the security team beats them up daily and takes the items, they will not be translated into personal loot and are only for RP flavor.

With the day still considered 'bright', Guin decided to make her way out of the apartment complex. She had her keycard in one hand and her umbrella in the other. Guin stopped by the main office to grab a bag - there was only so much she could hold onto.
Guin managed to grab a bag that seemed a decent size. Hopefully, she would be able to get supplies that would benefit herself and the others. It looked like it would be able to fit around three items. Maybe she'd actually be able to help someone. She felt pretty useless as a pre-med with the crazy infection thing.
Hopefully, she wouldn't run into someone... or something that would cause her harm.

Guin walked a couple blocks from her the apartment complex, most of the areas closer by already had been explored and raided by them. She stayed on high alert, afraid that she would be attacked. It was a strange feeling, a constant adrenaline rush that she was confused to if she enjoyed or not. "It's like those damn video games..."
She came to a house that looked like the owners left in a rush. Well, who wouldn't have tried to flee? The door was partially open, some windows broken, but most of the house seemingly intact. As she stepped through the door, she was careful to avoid the glass and wood on the floor. It wasn't the windows or door that was broken, but picture frames that once hung on the walls.
Guin carefully flipped over one of the pictures on the floor and looked at it sadly. The picture showed a small family, a mother, father, and young child. She couldn't help but wonder what happened to them, hoping that they still lived somewhere out there... Away from all of this.
Continuing down the hallway, Guin went to the kitchen to look through the cupboards. She opened and closed them slowly and quietly, being careful not to arouse anyone or anything that may be nearby. In a small one in the corner, she was lucky to have found five Aero bars. She smiled to herself. "This will definitely help the group..." Guin quickly put them into her bag and thought about which room to scavenge next.
Instead of wandering into the adjacent living room, Guin went into the bedroom. She was hoping to find some clothes for the group. There were some people that managed to destroy what they were wearing fairly quickly. Her search of the drawers failed. Desperate, she looked under the bed. Instead of finding clothes, Guin found a very small bottle of water.
"Maybe this was one of the bottles that the child had..." She tried to imagine day zero for that family. The frantic packing... the fleeing. Guin felt a pang of sadness, but it wasn't abnormal nowadays. It's not like she could have done anything to help them; she could barely help herself. Without a further thought, the small bottle of water joined the Aero bars in the bag.
She made her way to the living room. Guin felt like she needed to get out of there as soon as she could. There was a feeling that she couldn't shake off after a while. Scattered around the room, Guin found five more Aero bars. They went into the bag and it felt heavy enough. She nodded, feeling like she did enough for the day and headed back towards the apartment.
With her umbrella and keycard in one hand, she threw the bag with her other hand over her shoulder. "Today was not a bad day...," Guin thought to herself. Well, it was definitely a better day with all the stuff she had found.
